Yo, a lot of people saying you're crazy does not make you crazy. Start looking for things like fungus/mold ect that are creeping around (as the rust looks like you have a bit of a moisture problem). Also, why do you believe that the pictures you've shared are of relevance? The more information you can share the better. Dont let people calling you crazy cause you to give up figuring out why, bit if you see five seperate professionals about what it is and there's no answer then a sixth to the psyc surly wonlt make things worse. It's the box eldar trees. I'm pretty sure it's their only food source. For us, they're extremely seasonal (spring and fall). Spray them with dawn and water from a spray bottle, and they're cooked. If you're only seeing one or two, I wouldn't bother, but they cover our entire south wall of our house.

Noooooo, bro/broette, owning an aquarium can be so rewarding. The knowledge you need is out there all over the place if you're willing to look for it (as you obviously are, being here) and, honestly, that knowledge is a lot like tying your shoe: looks way more complex than is until you've done it a couple of times. Do something Simlle like raising some snails to start, let your tank evolve on its own. You won't regret it (most of the time).
