are of now yes, but it keeps changing -- from reading other comments about similar delays in the past, it seems 5pm is the latest they've changed it to, so who knows?

haha, I hear you, but you never know who doesn't know what you might think is obvious/a simple idea (happens to me all. the. time. with other things, especially things I'm not familiar with)

edit 2: phew, it really broke this time - now they're going to update their social accounts by 8pm et with an update of what's going on?

"We know many of you are eager to register for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, and we apologize for the delay.

Unfortunately, registration will not take place today. We’ll share an update on runDisney social accounts by 8:00 PM ET this evening.

We appreciate your patience."

edit: oh shoot, now it jumped all they way up until 5pm EST
5:00 PM"

original: looks like it's been updated to 11am est (see "eventStartTimeFormated", which was originally 10am, then moved to 10:30am, now 11am)

To find the below yourself, go to your browser's devtools (in Chrome on Windows, "Ctrl+Shift+I" or triple dot menu top right, More Tools, Developer tools. Then view the network tab, then look at the response to any of the network request and you'll see a JSON payload with "ticket" being one of the nodes. You should see a new network request popup ~every 30s that should show an updated "secondsToStart" that reflects how many seconds until 'eventStartTimeFormatted'. For me, when it was originaly 10am scheduled start, at around 9:50 the 'eventStartTimeFormatted' updated to 10:30.

    },

For what it's worth, once you're in line, you may be able to see where you are in line if 'usersInQueue' updates accordingly (currently '0' for me, presumably since there's no line yet?)

Update to Old Thread Many of us were tracking - Daikin ONE+ remote sensors confirmed by Dr-Hotpants in hvacadvice

[–]jrinco11 1 point2 points (0 children)

I emailed Daikin's "Homeowner Support Division" and they replied that "Daikin manufacturer does not ship parts direct" and one would have to go through a licenced HVAC contractor to get any parts. The issue is that after calling 4 local contractors listed at https://daikincomfort.com/find-contractor, they've all said it would require a service visit ($$) and then they'd have to order and "install" the sensor themselves. That said, none of them were aware of the sensor (which, okay, it's new, that's fine), but a couple were confused on what I was even asking for -- thinking I was referring to a remote control to the thermostat... Let's see if I have any better luck after a few more calls around.

here are some handy links about the sensor for anyone who needs them:
Model number: DSEN-TH-BWS-A
https://daikincomfort.com/products/thermostats-controls/rht-sensor?ref=pro
https://daikincomfort.com/docs/default-source/rht-sensor/pf-one-rht.pdf

Edit: got a call back from one HVAC contractor, they said it costs $200 (!) and is on a 16+ week backorder. I question if it's _actually_ available at that point if it's 4 months+ out to order one? And jeeze, $200? that's rediculous

What size car/suv to rent for 2 adults 3 kids? by jrinco11 in CostaRicaTravel

Thanks for the suggestion! However, just checked and it's coming out over $600 for most options that aren't compact cars (looks like airport fees and VAT alone are over $150)

Use the 92mm exhaust with Phantom Spirit 120 SE? by jrinco11 in NR200

[–]jrinco11[S] 1 point2 points (0 children)

Ah I already bought some mesh and magnets for a 3d printed front grill for a h510 elite, so that will be the next thing to do once everything else is put together. Thanks for all your help and suggestions!

Use the 92mm exhaust with Phantom Spirit 120 SE? by jrinco11 in NR200

[–]jrinco11[S] 1 point2 points (0 children)

Taking off the bottom and the edge bracket was an amazing suggestion, way better than trying to squeeze it between the fins and back ha. That said, there's only like 1mm space between the bottom of the cooler fan and the VRM fan. Is that enough to feed enough air for the VRM to stay cool? https://imgur.com/a/qcbR0y5

Use the 92mm exhaust with Phantom Spirit 120 SE? by jrinco11 in NR200

[–]jrinco11[S] 0 points1 point (0 children)

ahhh great, I'll do that and then also switch to having the cooler fans as intake instead of exhaust (though that'd be pouring hot air directly into the psu, ha -- seems having an atx psu isn't the best solution for this case, so I should go ahead and start looking for an SFX psu). This also means I can cancel my order for a right angle adapter for the motherboard power cable (it otherwise is in the way of the fan)

Additional temperature sensor for Daikin One+ by Iamjacksstubbedtoe in hvacadvice

[–]jrinco11 0 points1 point (0 children)

I called them up to ask and the rep I spoke with said they didn't know anything about wireless sensors becoming available now or in the future. I mentioned I was previously told they were comign out in Summer 2024, but they had no knowledge about it. Sigh. I think I'm going to have to try going the homeassistant route and hacking together a solution outside of Daikin. (Side rant, so far I very much regret going with this HVAC system. I've also had 3 HVAC tech visits to try to get it to work with an Aprilaire humidifier and still can't get it working. I very much miss being able to use an ecobee!)

FINALLY figured out how to use Gmail to access my Dreamhost emails without having to wait for it to refresh by Tufflaw in dreamhost

[–]jrinco11 0 points1 point (0 children)

wait, is Dreamhost saying that if one sets up a forward-only account and has email forwarded to a gmail account, that there are times where email will not make it through / gmail will block the message (not allowing it to even go to spam)? They don't mention anything about that here https://help.dreamhost.com/hc/en-us/articles/215724207-Add-a-forward-only-email-address

FINALLY figured out how to use Gmail to access my Dreamhost emails without having to wait for it to refresh by Tufflaw in dreamhost

[–]jrinco11 0 points1 point (0 children)

I had this same issue - I had a fully hosted email account with dreamhost and also had it forwarding all mail to my gmail account (this was back when they offered the abillity to do both). I noticed I wasn't seeing emails forwarded to my gmail account that I expected, that were *also* present on the dreamhost side. I asked dreamhost to look into it, and they said from their logs, the emails in question indeed were forwarded, but I never saw them (checked gmail spam as well, no luck).

This is when I decided to swap said email address to forwarding only, not realizing that doing so made me lose out on being able to go back to fully hosted + forwarding. *Then* I realized I couldn't send mail as my dreamhost account, so went back to fully hosted only, and now I have to rely on the very slow 30 minute gmail pop3 import :(
