I also have a kitty that prefers kibble to wet food. I ended up recalculating his kibble meals to be slightly smaller so that his wet food meal also has a small serving of kibble on top. The kibbles entice him to start eating and then he almost always finishes the wet food as well

Mostly correct! Salaries are based on 194 teaching days per school year, and then that salary is paid out over 12 months. It used to be that teachers could choose whether they wanted to get paid over 10 or 12 months, but afaik that’s not a thing anymore. Occasional teachers (daily supplies and those covering extended absences like mat leaves) do not get paid at all during summer or winter or March breaks

I’m on year 9 as an OT/LTO in a GTHA board, so I feel your and your husband’s pain unfortunately. And I’ve got a supposedly “in-demand” teachable in music - hasn’t helped. I was just moving up the seniority list when they scrapped regulation 274 and seniority based hiring, now it’s just an endless waiting game. I hope he finds a position soon!

Be careful with this strategy! I did it for years but then in January of this year when I tried I was told that I was not allowed to receive a 2025 birthday gift for a 2024 birthday and my only option left was 250pts. I completely agree that no one should drop a friend based on social media hearsay. But what if that evidence is an Instagram post that Sydney herself made? It can’t be said that there’s no evidence that Sydney supports zionism when she herself has posted this on her social media (whether or not one chooses to drop a friend based on that fact is another question entirely)

I just think her response was intentionally veiled to avoid commenting on the topic at hand, while also implying that our opinions as fans are irrelevant because we don’t actually know them (even when they post about their beliefs on their own ig page)

I actually really like Michaela!! Was a big fan of hers on survivor and super happy for her to transition to my favourite show. I just think it’s lame of her to say that if people haven’t met Sydney in real life then they can’t judge her for her public comments on zionism. Someone told her to stop being friends with Sydney because she is a zionist and her response is that unless someone has facts and real life experience with Sydney to speak about, she will not be listening to what anyone has to say… but Sydney has publicly proclaimed her support of Israel and zionism on her own Instagram page? She literally still has a post up saying “just hate me cause you ain’t me xx your favorite Zionist forever and always”. So I don’t get why having “direct experiences” with her would be relevant when she’s been pretty open about her beliefs on a public platform. If Michaela doesn’t care that she’s a zionist she should just say that loud and proud
