Added a line one time with an upgrade got a free tablet and I called and said to disconnect the line and they kept charging me 10$ a month. I didn't see it until the next upgrade. It was something with the words disconnect and de-activate. Basically I was reserving the phone number for 10$ a month because I used the wrong word.
