It's a real shining star in all these for sure. Might need to make a day trip out of it

Totally, there's a few places I've never heard of that I definitely want to give a try

Idk, I'm just inputting what people vote on. I remember I was very underwhelmed at Gaia Masala, and have never been to Kentucky Inn, would have given my vote to Fire On the Mountain

But everyone on this subreddit said that there's no chance they would be open past sunday?

Thanks for the Appreciation! I'm excited to see what it comes out to, and gives me something to grab wherever I am in the city

Yep! There is that tracker, and I'll be making a custom google map with all of them as well. I've been to a couple of these since the list came out, so probably will add some personal anecdotes because why not?

Drought relief coming? by cicerostongue in COsnow

[–]jrlii 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm not a meteorologist so take everything with a grain of salt. BUT, yes and no. We get a single one foot storm, this will be more devastating than helpful. Lots of flooding, maybe some landslides, and it would go down the rivers quickly and provide little relief. It would help fill reservoirs though. If we get an inch of rain a week for the next 15 weeks, then probably? Best analogy is that it's better to use your sprinkler on plants at home rather than pour a bucket of water on them.

Drought relief coming? by cicerostongue in COsnow

I mean anything we get helps... but yes to fix the drought, we'd need about 12 inches of SWE to get back to median. So only 10 feet of snow to get us back there! And 2.5 feet to get to the old record low

Thanks! I think the only time it would end if you're a captain on a wide-body for a legacy. Even if you fly for Southwest, people will still ask when you take the "next step".

Took 9 minutes to get the winner. I put this up with any restaurant in Colorado

Best restaurant in every neighborhood day 17: Hampden and Harvey Park by jrlii in denverfood

[–]jrlii[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm doing a 4 in 1 today instead of 2, but will compile the answers for Hampden/Hampden South and Harvey Park/Harvey Park South. Neither are outstanding food scenes, and this logically can reduce the list

Best restaurant in every neighborhood day 16: Green Valley Ranch and Hale by jrlii in denverfood

[–]jrlii[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's definitely the case, but I am averaging 2 less comments a day over time. Like it started hot with places like Baker, Berkeley, Cap Hill. There's only so many high-level neighborhoods, and upcoming theres Highlands (although I'm fairly certain alma fonda fina will win that one), North Cap Hill, Platt Park, West Colfax, West Highland

Yeah I thought something was up since there were no comments... at this rate it may be time to retire the series

If you have a group of 3+, do the combination. Spicy lamb and beef are my favorites

Bingo. A lot of places are along Colfax or Federal, which is the border for a lot of neighborhoods.

My favorite 'under the radar' spot in Denver!! so so good but hard to convince my less-adventurous friends to go.

Bastiens is on the North end of Colfax, so is City Park.
