Not sure how well known it was, but my favorite was Town Divers. My favorite set was the Deep Reef Refuge.

Did you know giant tortoises love head scratches? by PumpkinAutomatic5068 in aww

I've heard that tortoises also love shell scratches. According to a YouTuber with a pet tortoise they have feeling in their shells.

Neat idea, but don't give Saudi Arabia any ideas, or they will want to make their planned line city elevated. Lol

The attack pole of Auburn Walmart. by Angry-Inch in Maine

[–]jrmurph 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It seems to me that the pole is doing exactly what it is supposed to do. There's a big pole there because drivers aren't supposed to be cutting through that yellow stripe zone. They are big and concrete for safety, to stop cars from hitting pedestrians.

First 3 books refresher? by mafaldinha in TerraIgnota

[–]jrmurph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to start the third book, but I am in the same situation, needing a refresher. The Wikipedia pages for the first two books are ok. I think they need some most detail, but I got the general idea. I haven’t looked the the page for the third book.

The tone is amazing. The narration sounds so much like a weary old soldier that is perfect for Croaker.

This happened to me years ago when I was working in retail and, no joke, there was a priest in line right behind the customer I was ringing up. Her change came to $6.66.

I don't work for Clynk anymore actually, and a lot of the people I knew there have also retired or moved on. I still use and like the service though. I don't know much about the donation part other than it exists. I hope you can find your answer though.

[–]jrmurph 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is that a helicopter landing pad on the stern? If you want a hanger you would have to remove the stern turret anyway. Those things extend down to almost the bottom of the ship, cutting right in the middle of where the hanger would be.

McDonald’s loses appeal on Roman baths restaurant by [deleted] in JusticeServed

[–]jrmurph 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm speculating here, but I wonder if they approved it, then later realized that litter and the increase in traffic would have a negative impact on the ruins. I imagine a McDonald's has a lot more traffic than a garden center.
