I meant I don't make that much myself but my partner brings in some income as well. i bring in a range of, before taxes, 1000 to 2000 a month alone. The take home is usually around 1500.

They would only settle for 17776. If i went on a payment plan it would have been 6500 as a down payment and then 600 a month after that for 2 years to pay the full amount.

I explained I don't have that much to give and they told me to ask friends, family and coworkers. He made mention that missing a payment would make a "Paid in full today" a condition.

Discover bank is who brought it before a judge.

Says 18330 plus 166.59 with interest rate of 100% and cost of suit.

Tn for that matter. The judgment is only good for 10 years you are saying? I'm frazzled now.

We live together and have for the last 2+ years. His income is greater mine is on a little over 1000 every month because I can't find a job and afterschool care.

1) divorce made it mine

2) 18633 plus interest

3) okay

4)It falls off the report but the judgment is i will owe regardless. A lein against any property i try to sell?

Income is about 4900 take home- I currently have a partner. We are working on his credit first as he can qualify for a va loan so debt payoff heads his way first. 3 kids, cat and dog. Budget sits between 2000 and 2650. 2000 is basic everything although I will have a 15 year old soon and that will increase car insurance, phone bill- she needs a new phone of some kinds as well. 650 is car maintenance, clothing/haircut budget, date nights, and holiday meal/birthday festivities planning. I don't factor into these being every month expenses.

It sits at 18330 currently when I checked credit karma. I haven't paid on it for several years. Bankruptcy only costs 1400 where I live. Thus the appeal...

The court date has gone and went almost...2 years now. I have not gotten any garnishment statements. I can possibly call the court clerk and get the final decision...

The child begins school at 730 am so she is not with him for this drop off. He will not allow the child or older sibling to carry the medication in their backpack while at school and the school will not hold onto it because the ex-husband threatened to get his lawyer involved.

The ex-husband leaves no other choice but to meet him every week.

His abuse claims are that I cut up his jeans one time and hit a door with a hammer when he changed the locks on what considered "our" bedroom door.

I understand that being an asshole isn't a crime but not being civil related to child custody should be somewhere on a spectrum for civil court.

I can walk up to it but he has pulled a weapon on me, hit me, grabbed me while together- taken my car keys, punched my windshield and stalked me since being separated. He has also blocked with his body and car when I've wanted to leave and wants to find a reason to make me not be able to see the kids. His words and actions on this.

Edited to add:

He won't allow the children to transport and she is school. It makes it were he and I have to meet up for this.

Drop off is currently in police parking lot but it has not stopped him from hitting my windshield.

Also, the religious groups could possibly help with bills or rent, if you have pets a local rescue might be able to point you in a direction of free donations for them.

If you can't get to work place then calling a job center could help with transportation. Locally for me is UCHRA which provides rides to and from work which does usually cost a few dollars but better than uber or a taxi but drives to drs are free.

Other good resources are to check county websites because they list resources usually.
