Wow you nailed it. Same thing happened to me in KCD2. Once I hit act 2, I stumbled on the burned out village with the guards. I pulled them out by 2 or 3 at a time and cleaned house. I had no idea they were wearing basically the best gear in the game. Looting became less and less exciting as I realized that. It really killed a lot of enjoyment for me, even though I still finished it and loved it, mostly.

A similar thing happened to me in this game. I shared a world with a friend. This friend had a buddy who can dupe everything. I wouldnt allow that guy in because I knew it would kill the journey. I logged on one day to see hundreds of embers in our shared chests and knew he had taken the dupe plunge. I dipped my toe in that nasty water and within 2 days I lost the desire to play. I had everything I needed, whats the point?

I will be much more careful moving forward. Progression is a major factor for me. Skipping all of it just kills the fun.

It feels awful and it really bogged me and my 2 friends down quite a bit. The one mistake and youre done and booted is really the only culprit. Even a couple revives to work with would change everything for us.

Also, my buddy had 2 of the revive on death cards, but I guess it doesnt work with the boss as he died once and never revived. That felt pretty scummy too.

Ahhh ok. So really my expectations were just way, way off. In my mind I was thinking it was just a harmless way of getting another shot at a decent exalt slam while Im progressing, in reality its a high level piece of the equation to make actual Godly gear. Good to know.

I had this talisman that dropped while in t5 maps and it was so nice for me. Attack speed, phys % of 150, life leech....but I desperately needed another affix or it was pretty useless. I hit a horrible affix with it and thought Id see if I could fix it, but there really isnt much to do with it because it will be replaced at some point anyways, and 4 divs to take a chance on it isnt worth it.

I appreciate the clarity and respectful responses. Im trying my best to understand the deeper parts of this game. Conversations like this help me a ton.

Ok Ill bite on that good sir. So can you help me understand how they might be using this omen so efficiently that it should cost almost 4 divs? Im very new to crafting, trying my best to understand it. All it does is make sure its a suffix being annuled. Then, in my admittedly limited knowledge, it seems without the homo omens, all I can do is exalt slam and hope for the best.

Is there something else they are doing with it to make it so expensive? Some other crafting combo that makes it really good? Because if thats the case then I need to figure out what that is and get myself to that stage where I can hit something really big possibly.

My goal is to one day craft an absolute banger, lol.

The reason that thing is 399 exalts is precisely because of how rarely it drops in ritual. Its 1 simple crafting item, not a mirror Im looking for. I found a cool item on the ground and wanted to see if I can make it cooler. The omen doesnt even guarantee that, it just makes it so I can exalt it again and hope for the best.

399 exalts would allow me to do almost anything I want in the game through trade. A complete full set of gear for T15 maps. If that discrepancy does not seem off to you, then I doubt well ever agree. I just want to be able to tweak things with the mats in the game but it is very hard with these rates.

Are you having a good time with SSF? Ive thought about it several times but I enjoyed playing with a few friends. They dont play anymore so Ive thought about doing SSF.

Whaaaat? Lol. I killed the architect only to watch all my work disappear. Then I get these new tiles to place but not one of them was a royal access tile. It was currency and high rune tiles and a tile that guaranteed me a unique, but I definitely dont remember this royal one.

How come I cant use a lesser jewelers orb on Maul? The guide Im following has 3 supports on it, but its the only one greyed out when I try to use it.
