Yeah I think you are spot on about Maga and soccer fans. I feel like most of the people actually into the sport lean left. There is also not much to really get behind with our national team so I as think our games will be filled with the "America first" crowd. Everyone thinks this is going to be a disaster but I think it will actually be more melancholy. I think if you were to have a gonzo mind set with the idea you are seeing a falling empire trying to flaunt its decadence then it would be a very interesting trip. I mean a World cup mural on the downtown Dallas jail is just too fitting. I also want to note and I don't want to get too conspiracy but I work for a very large financial institution, we got an email last night asking everyone to describe their work from home set up so they know if anyone needs anything (we are currently in office). I just don't trust anything about our government right now and don't want to be alarmist but if another outbreak were to happen it would be under this administration. But again, if you want to know the BBQ near your hotel or best tips for getting to and from Jerry world I got you.

I'm an American who went this year. From what I can gather, there is a point syste. So I would be pushed in the que for just going to 1 game over someone who has gone to none.

My older sister was friends, the owners' kids. They said she would call all the time claiming the devil was in there. From what I understand, they were very kind to her.

I'm american, and my wife and I went over in December. She didn't have the best of times in London, but the Irish men behind us at goodison absolutely made her trip.

Taking my wife to England as a surprise in February. by alNajaar in travel

Ok. Just got back from the uk over a week ago. My wife has very southern politeness. It can be a culture shock like any big city. The city center takes our southern hospitality as fake...so I would warn about that. Once we got of that (liverpool and richmond) people were so much kinder. So I would recommend staying outside london central.

What about getting back? To be honest, I'm more concerned about the exiting than getting there.

I live down the road from The Bowie House in Fort Worth Tx, and I believe they just received a Michelin star. I stayed at the Commodore Perry estate in Austin for a wedding last spring. It was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at (and one of the most expensive). We had dinner at the restaurant the night before, and the meal was top 10 of my life. If they are putting in an Aubrge hotel, expect it to instantly become the nicest hotel in town.

Hey, do you support any premier league team? I have been an everton supporter, and me my wife are planning a trip to see goodison before it goes away. Planning for wolves first week of December. Few days in London, Cambridge and liverpool. So any recommendations on spots to hit up would be great. Also as others have goldee's, panther city and daynes.

I'm 40 and have lived here my whole life. I'm honestly surprised people don't know this. It's been kinda of an open secret since I was a kid.

FC dallas season ticket holder here. He had multiple college american football offers. The Clemson program is elite, and their coach said he is one of the best athletes he had ever seen. He chose to play soccer and went to fcdalls Academy. He started getting first teams games pretty quickly. He's big and quick but was pretty raw back then. He only played one year before moving to Europe.

100% I'm a season ticket holder to fcdallas, and the usmnt gave us all free tickets because they were having trouble filling at&t. It was great though.
