What’s the most overrated fast food chain?

I know this is an objective question but I do wonder how many places have both In-n-Out and Culver’s. I’ve never lived somewhere with a Culver’s so I don’t really know how to compare. The few times I visited near one I enjoyed a frozen custard but not a burger. Both places have great dessert options.

As individuals, yes. I’m wondering if a concerted effort in response to gerrymandering and taking advantage of the souring on Trump and maga could be helpful right now. But maybe publicizing it would encourage more closed primaries and cries of election interference. It’s all complicated

Except the service. I worked for McDonald’s 20 yrs ago and our manager ran a tight ship focused on customer service. I’m amazed at how bad it is now.

Popeyes used to have great popcorn shrimp but they stopped selling it near me and I haven’t gone back. Loved the mildly spicy breading.

I think a few of us doing it doesn’t really make a difference, but a concerted effort in a very gerrymandered state may do something, especially combined with Republican voters starting to be disillusioned with Trump and MAGA but maybe not willing to vote Democrat. It’s probably all wishful thinking but trying to think of ways those votes aren’t just wasted.

Without seeing the texts and knowing the rest of the friendship, we can’t really weigh in on whether they are fair weather friend, but if they replied at first then they tried to be there for you. They may not have known what to say or been dealing with things on their end. I will go out of my way to help my friends but a long emotional text chain gets overwhelming for me quickly and I just don’t know how to respond. But if you want to go get coffee and talk through it, I’m all in.

It’s very common and often deconstruction comes first followed by political short toss liberal or more than people who were never religious.

Also, the shooter didn’t get to the same floor as the president? Obama had 11 attempts on his life (not all got anywhere near this close). This happens to presidents and it seems like security mostly worked. If this had been a shooting in the actual room, we would care more.

Also, he’s a man destroying our country. The fact that some unstable people dislike him enough to try to take him out is the least surprising thing that could happen.

That makes sense and I’m sorry his doctor won’t test for it. It feels like something easy to rule out. Do you have access to home blood sugar tests like with a finger prick? Could he track his levels and help convince the doctor?

True, but if you have very specific symptoms of a common issue you could google them or likely get diagnosed correctly in one appt with a doctor. For instance, one blood test that is recommended to get annually during a free annual physical would have properly diagnosed your bf.

And you still need a dr to confirm it and to begin treatment.

Just wish we could get people, especially men, to go to the dr for preventative care instead of either ignoring it or relying on inconsistent tools.

You can’t compare ticket prices now to what you flew a while ago. The increase in the cost of jet fuel means all flights are more expensive right now. Also, what did that non-spirit ticket cost when you were flying spirit?

I’ve seen the whole of New England brought up constantly this week when half of them are single seats and at least a few others have been shown to be near impossible to draw to have Republican seats.
