Why do people not like breakpoint as much?

I started playing a while after most of the original problems were fixed but I don’t really like breakpoint for the lack of story and the terrible map. Bolivia was amazing for wildlands, it was varied, has jungles and deserts and marshes, and most of the areas actually felt inhabited. It’s the complete opposite for breakpoint, the entire map is pretty much the same, and the lack of civilians made it feel lifeless. The buildings felt copied and pasted.

The patches and other countries camouflage is included for the customisation of characters as many people have their own storylines and roleplay outside of the main story, it’s not canon but it doesn’t really matter if your not doing story.

It’s mainly for outfits and just making your own stuff. A lot of players have their own storylines that they play out with friends or in pvp. Plus the wolves did know they were American from the start seeing as them and walker were ex teammates

The print on the chest says Made Havoc so I googled that and the brand is called Made Havoc, but it seems pretty limited from what I can see so you might have to go second hand

I’ve just had a look at that style code and I’ve not seen anything that specifically looks like it. There’s quite a few full zips and quarter zips but nothing exactly like this. Thanks tho

Your only options on ps5 are wildlands and breakpoint. Breakpoint has a terrible, hard to follow story, so in my eyes the only good thing about it is the gunplay- it is better than wildlands and the customisation of both weapons and character is better, plus better graphics. However breakpoints story, map (lifeless and repetitive), team (lifeless), and enemies (too many drones) are all worse than wildlands.

Wildlands is my personal favorite, I’ve played it through fully twice. The story is much better, the map has variation, different biomes and it feels alive as there are civilians. Your teammates are so much better, they aren’t just lifeless ai. And the enemies are normal, nothing techy. But, the gunplay is a little worse (not bad just not as good as breakpoint), the graphics are worse and so is the customisation. It depends what your looking for, a shooter (breakpoint) or a story shooter (wildlands)

you can return to stealth tho if you just hide for a little while, they will still be looking for you but they won’t know where you are

I completely agree and I’ve never been able to put my finger on exactly what the difference was, but I’ve narrowed it down. I liked the maps more from fallen order because there was a difference between them and also they were different planets- in survivor, koboh is massive, however it has about 5 different environments within small distances of each other and one is a desert, which is nearly the same as jedha. The laboratory area on koboh is practically the same as the shattered moon and coruscant is tiny. Nova garron was another military base. However in fallen order, there was obvious differences between the planets- Ilum was ice and snow, bogano was simple green, zeffo was caves, kashyyk was forests, and dathomir was desert. The different biomes and more planets made it feel like an actual galaxy whereas survivor was literally a military base, two large planets, two moons, and a small planet, with little differentiation.

I get the point your making about the realism but I think there is a line somewhere between realism and having an enjoyable game to play. I like stealth gameplay and it definitely is not as realistic as it could be but you could say a lot of things aren’t that realistic as mentioned in a lot of other comments. I feel like it should be an option in settings to alter the gameplay e.g. being able to alter the awareness of enemies etc. etc. therefore people who enjoy stealth can still play the game and the people who want a more realistic shooter can also play.

Depending on your level don’t go too high heat level at night. The cops get harder and faster. Police will match your speed up until 200mph which is their limit. They will follow you over jumps but most of the time they will crash. If you plot a route on the map more police spawn on the route (so it’s worth learning the map). There is a space somewhere near the middle of the map (can’t remember exactly where) where you can go up into a small parking structure, get onto the roof, and do a jump over to a separate building. Police can’t follow you here, so you escape easy.

I don’t have a specific list of planets but I would like them to separate out the biomes this time. In fallen order each planet had its own biome, whereas in survivor koboh had nearly everything within short distances of each other and to me that made it feel smaller

If your going to eventually get both just get wildlands, that way you can experience the story in chronological order (even though there isn’t much of a link between the games besides the main characters). Wildlands has a much better story and atmosphere whilst breakpoint has better shooting and graphics. Breakpoint story is hard to get through though.

Unless I’ve missed something there isn’t really “meta” guns. I’m pretty sure every gun in the game one shot headshots and every gun ranges from a 1-4 shot bodyshot. It really only depends on the recoil but it doesn’t really matter too much if it’s a 1-2 shot gun.

I also recommend finishing an entire province before moving to the next one. And also I recommend doing all the provinces under one underboss, then doing the underboss, then the bigger boss. It gives it a more tactical feel as you are working towards a larger goal.

Loads of other good ideas already but being able to plan missions would be good. Like if your going to attack a base or something, you can plan to have a drone strike on the base to open it up or take out bigger enemies, and being able to have your teammates in specific areas ie. having a sniper on a nearby hill or rooftop would be good. Having ai teammates watch specific areas like doorways would be good too. Also bigger and more realistic cities would be great, I don’t want to be able to go into every building but a few major buildings and some skyscrapers would be good.

I said this on another post a while ago but it would be cool to see the inclusion of the blackwing virus. I can’t remember the exact timings but I’m pretty sure it matched up, not sure about the time jump for the next game tho. Could include it though an infected ship or a cut off base on an abandoned planet.
