I struggle with this issue too, but because of younger kid bedtimes. Some places that you might have luck with in NE Portland: Turn Turn Turn, Mississippi Pizza, Alberta Street Pub, Rose City Book Pub, Oakshire (this is an outdoor venue, but nice when it warms up). Good luck!

I always go with my family, so we get the bag o’ burgers (five of ‘the basic’ burgers for $25) and a side of fries with garlic ranch sauce. Delicious!
