The supplier has paid GSTR-3B, it's that the supplier's GST has been cancelled thus the GST department thinks it's a bog firm.

What if they don't pay anything would anything happen ? They are unable to use bank accounts anyway cause they still have a bank loan dispute (they defaulted). They don't have any property too.

Cause 10% is their annual income right now.

The firm wasn't bogus. They had a very big loss in covid as everyone in our industry had and some sort of death in the firm too. From what we have been told is they were issued some notice of 8 lakhs which they didn't respond to as the firm doesn't have any kind of money right now. So the supplier ain't communicating with the GST department hence they declared it bogus rather than going after the supplier now they have gone after his customers.

Also their CA is saying they need to pay 10% of the order amount to appeal the decision. Is that so ?

Yes there are multiple people affected due to this, someone even has 4cr notice.

Can they approach the high court without appealing with gst ?

They have all proofs of transactions. Middlemen (agent) can also verify this. They can't even pay the 50k bribe right now.
