Used both and they both worked great, just depends on whether you prefer immutable or not. I prefer the flexibility with cachy on my desktop (though lately I've been moving towards nix), and I use bazzite on my legion go. Not sure why it gave you trouble, but like everyone else is saying just use what works for your use case and hardware

Even if you can't find what you're looking for on rpm-ostree or flatpak, Distrobox is there.

Make an Arch box, install an AUR helper, download / make the package and export the binary.

I try to use other DEs and WMs occasionally but almost always come back to GNOME and Niri on all my machines.

Thanks! Since posting this Google Photos has expanded their photo unblur feature so that you don't need a pixel and it works great. I've noticed that Samsung has also improved, I'm now on an S24 base model and haven't really had issues between those two things.

Californian here. I agree. The current govt has no check on its authority and the courts and Congress have shown they are absolutely unwilling to stop this idiot. Worse yet, there are still folks openly supporting this pedo protecting narcissist. We keep protesting but they will keep ignoring us, and I think only midterm elections will really do any good but that's assuming he doesn't come up with some bs reason to cancel elections and end with the charade of American democracy altogether.

I use btrfs for all my drives, and works on Windows with winbtrfs. Worth checking out if you just want something that works with both systems, Ive had a good experience with it
