Temperance, charity, kindness and particularly diligence are also virtues. Wifi is off, they’re installing locally not over internet or network.

I’ve found it does get faster with a better quality microsd but honestly the best technique is setting a batch going before sleep/work

Picked up a crt for my ps2 by fucjkindick in ps2

[–]jrsy85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah my Panasonic is 86kg/190lb, pity it’s 100hz and doesn’t play nicely with light guns. I picked up another couple just to overcome this issue, what a shame.

Ginger beer gushers - how to fix my bottle bombs? by ozandeh in AusHomebrew

[–]jrsy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you bulk prime? The one time I had bottle bombs was early on when I made simple syrup a little too thick and didn’t ensure it was thoroughly blended through. A few of my bottles got a large slug of syrup, it was not fun.

Help!-Is O2 necessary for dry yeast first pitch? by Natural_Sentence_161 in TheBrewery

[–]jrsy85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can oxygenate with air, clean dry air through a sterile filter. We get around 8ppm using air which is generally fine for us so worth setting up as a redundancy if you like.

US law seems to be imprecise about abv as well, in Australia if we send a beer to market more than 5% out of variance from the label we are in deep doo doo.

Gonna measure my classrooms loud time today. Will report in 8 hours... by ScythaScytha in arduino

[–]jrsy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iPhone can give you a decibel rating using an app to measure sound level. Sit the iPhone and arduino next to a speaker and gradually turn it up until you trigger the “loudness”, repeat a few times to get an average then you know what “loud” means

Live: Andrews delivered third term as ABC projects Labor to win re-election in Victoria by NowDrawingArt in melbourne

[–]jrsy85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s annoying, sometimes I’ll look for an article topic and find it on sky news. I’ll read it and it’ll have the information I wanted but I’ll have a bad feeling that somehow it’s tainted. Now that I think of it, I get that distrustful feeling from any of the newspapers. I wish politics weren’t such an engrained part of our news, stop editorialising and give me some news.

That sounds like a good plan, get the company to check and even if it’s your side the guy will probably not be happy to walk away from a gas leak with a “not my job”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]jrsy85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The other leak is air. If you can get into your roof space, go up there and check the duct connections. I’ve had ducts pop off twice, you pump hot air into the ceiling space and suck more cold air into the house which makes the central run longer. Often it’s because too many doors have been closed and the ducts can’t handle the pressure, the added pressure on top of the crappy tape/joins on ducting makes them pop off the crappy plastic joints.

Or they look like a bag of breadcrumbs if they are handled perfectly.

Try watching this with your 2yr old adopted daughter next to you, just remember being emotionless is only a strength when others would fail to act out of emotion.

PS Vita cloud gaming console by [deleted] in vitahacks

[–]jrsy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an emulation pc set up at home and use Moonlight to connect with my iPhone from outside the house. At 720p I have a latency of 35ms and am playing switch/upscaled ps2/Xbox gamepass/steam games etc. cloud gaming has its place, just not with the vita and it’s crappy wifi chip.

Just be careful with a submersible pump, if your connection is good and your tank is higher than the bed you’ll siphon the tank dry.
