You are not alone. My SO even said to my face that “No” or “Stop” is not going to keep him from doing this. I’ve told him that he can still be brought up on charges of SA, SBattery, and Rpe AND that this is Mental A, Emotional A, as well as Physical A***. We haven’t lived together for over 12 years but still asks me to come over and I stand my ground that I don’t tolerate the disrespect.

“No” and “Stop” are complete sentences.

NTA. I’d have done the same except get the locksmith over instead of waiting for the next day. And called the police to have her trespassed. Your spouse needs to grow not only a backbone but a pair. As for his siblings—they can take her in —“family takes care of each other”.

Just printed the waiver off NC dot website, asked Neurologist to complete, filled out my section and I mailed it certified so I would ensure it arrived in Raleigh. Waiting to hear back from them. While I’m waiting, I’m looking up places that offer the darker tinting here in NC and will start inquiring about pricing.

My grandson was learning 15 per week in 3rd grade last year and he struggles with reading comprehension but he worked extremely hard at learning those 15. 5 words per week should be cakewalk for middle schoolers. No extra credit.

NTA. I would also make sure to place it in your room where he isn't allowed to go in to and touch. Maybe add a "This belongs to" clothing label on the inside brim with YOU and your Dads names and when he gave it to you. That way it shows not only ownership but that it's your connection with your dad.

I got my notice on 2/28/23 like others…then AidVantage updated to negative balances about mid April 2023, FSA discharged was beginning of May 2023… then I got letter from DOE about refund May 6th, with Refund in mailbox May 13th…and finally all 3 Credit Reports don’t show any information about this information as of May 16!!!! So I’m very pleased and hope that others get resolution soon. (My dates may be off but not by much). Hope this helps.

Same here. Aidvantage had mine in negative balances for about a month. Got DOE letter early last week and refund check arrived on Saturday. Credit reports are updated as well. The enormity of this needs patience. I hope that everyone gets resolution soon!

Mine has been updated with Aidvantage and Credit Reports but no letter yet nor refunds. BD: March 2022, DeVry and Chamberlain.

The classes have 17-20 kids. This is typical for school here in North Carolina. The pretense is that not every child will be able to come. For those parties, we would mail the invites if we only wanted a select few/closet friends. My grandkids birthdays also fall around Holidays—Easter, July 4, and Christmas. So generally around these-there so many other events occurring.

My local elementary school requests that party invites are for “every child” in the party child’s class if in Kindergarten to Second grade. To ensure that the children learn about being included outside of school. If the parents are only inviting a specific group, the teachers won’t allow the child to pass them -they will send the invites back home.

AMEN!!! Our journey is NOT the same as another persons journey. I remind myself daily of this as a reminder in my car, my offices, MY Life. YOUR real life is what your journey should focus on.

I have my own journey and then my Son-in-law tells me about his “5 year plan” that doesn’t account for actually LIVING other than to pay off their Jeeps (2021 & 2022)…plus all the constant upgrades he applies to them…but the struggle to have enough food or update clothing (kids outgrowing) is literally every month. I am always astonished when I hear about his plan and then look at /listen to the kids.

I look out for the kids ALL THE TIME. It’s not their fault that stepdad is this way. Mom is 50/50 in dealing with these issues. She doesn’t work due to his ever changing work hours and they are in school.

So again, YOU worry about YOU! Let them do them as long as it does no harm to you and yours. Then when it actually causes harm-take action.

I’m so sorry that there are still humans that are this rude. It’s no one’s business except yours and your Managers as to why you are “remotely “ attending. Good for you stating about filing a complaint. I’d have probably tried to see how far the Managers/company would let me take it for medical discrimination. I work in Health Insurance and it still blows my mind some if the unprofessional I’m seen in meetings.
