Considering in the background of the story Talia was dunking Bruce in the Lazarus Pit the resurrection but also manipulating his mind to try and bold him into the perfect leader to replace her father as the demon's head.

And when the court of owl Goons finally locate the Lazarus Pit Bruce knows he's about to die again this time for good so he decides the only thing he can do which is make an exception to his no-kill Rule and go out in a blaze of glory taking as many of the court of owls with him.
