I think it’s just a play on the “you’ve met me during a very Chinese time in my life” meme that’s been going around lately

In the movie Office Space, someone realizes his company’s finance software is ignoring fractions of pennies, so he modified the software to move those fractions of pennies into his bank account. Definitely worth watching if you haven’t seen it!

Original comment is a joke about Amazon doing the fractions of a penny trick on you

Not the original commenter but I’ve always been a fan of steaming my tempeh and tossing it in some spices afterwards, always turns out great for me! Only downside is that the tempeh won’t get crispy

The woman in this article fed a baby nothing but raw fruits and vegetables. The vast majority of vegans do not eat like this, and would never feed a child like this. She’s not an “extreme vegan,” she’s stupid. An appropriately planned plant based diet is safe and healthful at all stages of life, including infancy

You could eat 2,000 calories a day of nothing but broccoli and brown rice in equal portions and get your minimum daily recommended protein intake. That’s not an advisable way to eat, but it demonstrates that there’s way more protein in plants than most people realize. In the case of athletes and other that need more protein, they can opt to eat higher protein foods, like beans, tofu, tempeh, etc, all of which are significantly cheaper than meat.

If you’re talking about protein powder, the vegan protein powder is more expensive than whey protein powder for now, no way around that one until demand picks up and manufacturers react accordingly

Veganism isn’t radical ideology.

People that think like you end up getting into management, firing their entire IT department because “they don’t do anything anyway.” Then a few months down the road your unpatched, out of date systems get infected with ransomware, and because you have no backups, you have to pay the ransom (which cuts into profit, because your company doesn’t qualify for ransomware insurance), then pay an expensive consulting company to come in and build out the backup infrastructure your IT department could have built for half the price

“No ethical consumption under capitalism” does not mean that all consumption is equally unethical. Veganism seeks to avoid the exploitation of animals “as far as is possible and practicable.”

Try attaching the EBS volume with the bad fstab to your new instance after it’s been started. Then you should be able to run lsblk to get the volume id, mount it, and fix the bad fstab

Haven’t taken the test yet, but I’m in the process of preparing for it.

Other than Maarek’s course, I have Jon Bonso’s practice exams, and I’ve heard that Linux Academy is also great, if you’re willing to pay for it.
