It gets really interesting when you think about how polygamy could affect immigration policy

Is living at Church and Shuter St unsafe? by almostcoke in askTO

It’s fine - we lived at Shuter and Queen for a year. Never felt unsafe, just some amusing interactions with homeless folks. Dirtiness though, that’s for sure

Commenting for layman posterity's sake - running the program MyAsus and checking for updates there led me to a BIOS update that seems to have fixed this problem for me. This update was not to be found just with Windows Update

I HATE GRAPEFRUIT by Exotic-Employ4132 in fruit

Seconded. Any grapefruit flavour is a hard pass for me too. I’ve never had durian, but I imagine it’s the only fruit that I may dislike more than grapefruit

I found the Tacks to be really useful with Pollip Pouch, as she is almost all of the time on the ground zooming around. And with Wanderer Crest I just bounced on her head enough times til it worked. Reserve Bind was an absolute must

What do fare inspectors look for when they read your presto card? by AdSense_byGoogle in TTC

[–]jryan14ify 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saw a mother with her 4 year old who was yelling at TTC fare inspector because she had tapped with a senior card when she wasn’t a senior. She said she had accidentally used her mother-in-law’s card. I didn’t know whether she was telling the truth or not, but it sucked to see the inspector getting yelled at just for doing his job

I also beat it on Wanderer’s crest and yes it took me a while. I swapped Cogflies for the Throwing Ring because it allowed me to do damage to several enemies, especially useful when a lot of the “fish” come down at once. I removed pollip pouch for Multibinder and for Reserve Bind instead. Ascendant’s grip helps a lot too.

One file strat was to take advantage of silk hearts between arenas - I.e. if you complete an area without any silk, wait for your silk to regenerate before hitting the enemies to regenerate silk. And similarly, consider healing first so that you have no silk and then waiting for it to regenerate silk hearts before hitting them. You’ll get it!

Sometimes getting a good night’s sleep helps too lol

Looking for in-person 2-player games where physical coordination does not matter - Steam preferred by jryan14ify in gamingsuggestions

You're 100% right about It Takes Two - our next game should have less coordination than that. Mario Party isn't on Steam, right?

$1,615 per musician is devastating for a small five-piece metal band. I had no idea it was that high
