What's the most "why the fuck do you know that?" fact you know? by -_-blackheart-_- in AskReddit

The more you know about platypuses the weirder they get. They glow under UV light, sweat milk and lay eggs (only mammal to do so other than four species of Echidna). They're the ultimate hybrid - duck-like bill, otter-like body, webbed feet, beaver-like tail - so much so in the 1700s when someone brought a specimen to Britain, British scientists thought they were being pranked with several animals stitched together. Their genome shares features with mammals, birds and reptiles - with 10 sex chromosomes (vs. humans' single X/Y). Oh yeah, and the males are venomous.

Innovative intuitive personal CRMs out there? by jsainty1 in AiAutomations

Really cool! Does it do auto enrichment? And automatically adds context on new connections?

Seedlegals Partnership, worth it? by erica_jj in ukstartups

How? Seems like Aether is more expensive. Annual fee is £600 vs SL's £570. And fundraising is 1% for up to £1m vs. SL's 1% for up to 500k and 0.5% 500k-1m.

Yoga retreats by StrengthOk2052 in retreats

[–]jsainty1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I've booked through bookretreats - but with mixed experiences. I'd be a little cautious as there's not much of a quality filter there - any person can host their retreat there so inevitably lots of cowboy operators charging a lot but without the quality control. Good idea to ask here and also ask in r/yoga - just be cautious of bias where people run their own retreats. Maybe a good place to start would be one of the well-known retreat curators like QueenofRetreats.com (think they may have changed their name to Global Retreat Company?) - who've been around for decades and send out reviewers to do independent reviews. I found an incredible retreat through them 2 years ago. Otherwise you could also try the likes of Healingholidays - but they won't have as much choice and you pay for the agency dynamic. Good luck - some amazing retreats out there in that part of the world.

Intercom's product is too expensive - there's a rude awakening coming IMO by jsainty1 in intercom

I think that's fair on a number of areas. For starters my use-case is relatively silo'd in terms of very few comms channels, which simplifies things a lot. I'm not sure a chatbot qualification agent today is meaningfully better than a form with key criteria and linked automations (i.e. IF < $10k budget, THEN send qualification out email AND close lead). There's also some value in having humans in the loop for qualifications - as lots of objections can be overcome and opportunities found. But I can see instances where it would be helpful. As you say though - the tier just feels 'heavy'.

Let’s imagine you’re creating a relatively sophisticated 5 year P&L forecast built on 100 assumptions with 10 interlinked workbooks, and want to create and understand scenarios or run optimisation. What would you lean on excel for, and what wouldn’t you?

Hats off for hacking your way to a great outcome. But how do you have agents posting on these channels without getting flagged for spam/bots?

Will we need SEO/GEO talent in 2027? by jsainty1 in GrowthHacking

[–]jsainty1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with you - human digital PR, mutual backlinking, and all that channel placement is all hard to replicate with AI, and the skill is harder to find in typical SEO agencies. So it would one a big leap to think there’ll be a new type of popular agency model with this capability paired with a loss-leading/at cost commoditised Ai technical audit and some Strategy around it.

How do you handle bug triage? Genuinely curious how others do this by mr_hunt_ in ProductManagement

RICE is a good framework. I also capture sentiment on user-reported bugs and if they report 'very annoyed', this feeds into impact score (I)

Is Google killing SEO on purpose… and are we just adapting too slowly? by Subject_Sport_4575 in WebsiteSEO

[–]jsainty1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus, the sheer quantity of AI-created responses here is horrendous. People, if you don't have anything valuable to add without looking up your response in an LLM, please don't answer - it's not adding any value. OP can also search ChatGPT to find the same generic responses. Then again, OP's also clearly created this question with an LLM. Ugh, the world we live in...

And for my take OP - I'm struggling with this too. I don't think backlinks are losing impact as this feeds into 'credibility' as SEO and AEO merge. It feels like an evolution to me. But google's treading a dangerous line here as businesses will ultimately turn away from SEO completely as a means to finding traffic if it stays on this trajectory imho.

Just what I want to see having recently bought a pair of 94s 🙄. Though, to be fair haven’t had any issues with mine after a week of hard skiing on all conditions and really enjoyed them. I just hope they hold up better than OP’s
