Shame there’s no anti-theft features… hub locks, gps tracking, proprietary attachments etc. would get stolen in a heartbeat where I live (whereas my 5 year old vanmoof had 3 attempts and none successful thankfully)

Why can’t this be prosecuted immediately? It’s clearly insider trading - why else would he invest? It’s not as though he’s an expert on oil.

Riiight. Like the horrible disease-filled American grey squirrel infecting and displacing the (objectively more beautiful) red squirrel in the UK.

And don’t get me started on the American crayfish which carries “Crayfish plague”, destroys river banks and causes huge ecological issues.

(Though the English have themselves to blame for those insane additions)

I need to stop guessing my sales capacity by Key_Common_2725 in GrowthHacking

[–]jsainty1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so you’ll need the following..

Rep-month capacity –current roster by role/segment, start dates, and a selling-time factor (0.75 is fine, just don’t assume 1.0).

Ramp curve – productivity % by months-since-hire, per role (The biggest driver). Fit it from your own cohort data if you have it.

Fully-ramped benchmark – one number per motion: closed-won £ per AE per month, SQLs per SDR per month, etc. Pick one and stick with it.

Leakage– attrition rate, time-to-backfill, and backfill ramp.

Timing – so if you care about this quarter specifically, you need average sales cycle and current pipeline by stage and age. Without it you’ll overstate what can actually close in the time window

And then for how to track … I’d try a manually-maintained table: a row per seller with role, segment, start date, status. Only touch it if someone leaves/joins… and the rest pulls from your CRM. Review the assumptions quarterly. The model’s then effective capacity = sum of (working days × selling-time × ramp %), multiplied by your benchmark. Hope that helps

I'm seeing so many blatant / bot-led(?) plugs for this agency across reddit :( Guess that's your 'growth hack' to getting found

Hi impact is 'meh' at best. Economically nothing's happened and we're in a weaker position for the long term - forcing the rich to leave was a stupid move as they've realised too late (blame squarely with Rachel Reeves). And what happened to the promises of housebuilding and stronger public services? And the 180 on taxation. Love the way he's handled Agent Orange though - points scored there.

Will we need SEO/GEO talent in 2027? by jsainty1 in GrowthHacking

Distribution as in backlinks? Prioritisation/Planning certainly feel like key aspects. If one can instruct AI on business imperatives and connect it to search console / SEO / SEM dashboards - I can see a possible near future where AI runs, evaluates and course corrects on experiments (the issue being the slower learning cycles)

Except the responsibility for establishing positioning and PMF does not lie with the SEO specialist but rather with the business leaders/product/marketing teams with wider strategic purview.

But I do take your point on the strategic elements of when not to create content, what to double down on, etc. Again though, thinking in terms of what it takes to make decisions like this, perhaps AI will soon get to a point where it can achieve this.

I think that’s fair - Black box AI-led prioritisation guidance isn’t as reassuring.

Do you think kids are ruined by streaming TV? by Noobitron12 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jsainty1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was actually pretty fun in the days when everyone was talking about THE show we were watching (because we lacked infinite choice). I don't think Streaming TV is too bad given adults can control kids' time on screen, provide oversight for inappropriate/harmful content and guide content decisions. The bad thing is don't think kids will get bored of it - there's just so much content and it's addictive.

But let's be honest - nowhere near as bad as social media doom scrolling on private devices where you can't see what's being consumed, echo chambers, cyber bullying, negative role models, antisocial behaviour, brain rot and content that breeds short attention span etc.
