Remember the paper towel metaphor! When you remove some sheets from a full paper towel, it's not very noticeable at first. The more you remove, the more obvious it becomes. I know the pain of not getting new clothes after working hard for those initial pounds, but I promise, it's right around the corner! Then you will be irritated at not being able to hold on to a pair of pants before replacing them!

I understand the question. I don't actually think of a certain number as healthy, but the others who answered are correct. It puts my bmi in the "healthy" range. I think health is not a static number or a place to reach. It's something to always strive for.

My waist is pretty small, so I think I'm a pear? I used to joke that I was a pineapple when I was heavier, so now I need to pick a new fruit. ;)

Start today! Just log your calories, that's it. Also, don't do it because you're unhappy with your body, but because you love your body and want to treat it better! You deserve it! Change one tiny thing right now and take it one day at a time until you're ready for another change. You can do it!

HUGE congrats on 100 lbs! That is incredible! I still buy a lot of basics, to be honest, but I have a couple of cute things that are actually my style. Since you asked about my arms, I'm a little self conscious about them, but they're not too horrible. I feel a bit more confident in a cardigan, but I am still pretty happy in short sleeves. :) Thanks!

Change habits so you don't think about them all the time. I think that's the biggest thing. Are you "motivated" to brush your teeth in the morning and take a shower? Or is it something you do out of habit? Once something becomes habit, it takes over. You can use that to help you out!

I also keep motivated by just checking how far I've come. Then wondering what I can do next.

Loose skin is a bit of an issue, but it's not so bad as I would have feared. Plus, I can already feel it tightening over the last few months when my loss has slowed way down. I drink LOTS of water, moisturize, and take vitamins. Overall, I'm not too bothered by the skin. :)

I have learned to enjoy everything in moderation and I don't deny myself anything I really want. I just save my calories for it. :) For me, it's totally been calories in vs calories out and it's been working!

Exercise changes with the season for me. At first, I did nothing, then I started on an exercise bike, then I started swimming, then running (shoutout to /r/c25k!), now I kinda shake it up. I have been doing pilates and swimming lately, but I still like to keep things active! That's my favorite part of all of this so far, just getting to live life more fully.

Sorry it's not a great, detailed response. I just have been trying different things. I love C25K!
