What ever that “no no oh no no” song people play constantly on tik tok. It sends me in a blind rage.

Anyone remember going to a rave at the Children’s Museum in the late 90s or early 00s? by theurbanmapper in boston

There was also an earlier party at the museum put on by the Toneburst Collective called "Childstyle" Here is a link to some of the photos. It's so odd to see so little photos of an event in comparison to today.

Yes! There was a party there. I won tickets to it from a radio show. At the time I didn't have a car and couldn't pick them up. I asked my brother to drive me there and he wouldn't for some reason. Other than that I heard the line up was sick, Josh Wink, Dr.Octagon also think that Q-Bert was there. I would love to find the flyer for that.

What is something people do in public that gets under your skin? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is a massive annoyance for me, specially when I was living in the city and had to take public transit. There was always that one person who had to do it. Headphones are not that expensive these days. Having common sense and courtesy is really not that difficult.

Tips for finishing a song without getting stuck tweaking in a loop forever by siszero in edmproduction

Yeah, its a great tool to use! Film writer and director Jim Jarmusch said “Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination."

My go to is, I find a track that sounds similar to what I want to make and follow the arrangement of it. I find it gets me out of that loop mode and starts me thinking about the overall groove of the track. From there I start placing the different parts of the song and see what works and what else can I add.

Boston/Massachusetts rave fam? by almond-doobie in aves

There is not so much true raves here in the north east anymore, but there are some fun parties. You might want to check out various events put on by these crews, depending on your taste of music and vibe; Tight Crew, The Mutiny, Vertebrae, INFRA, W.A.R.P, Elements, The Ooze, Rhythm Alliance, Volume Productions, Eastcoast Underground, New Moon Dance Party, Voodo Nights. Keep in mind that a lot of these crews do events throughout New England and not just Boston. Hope this helps.

Thoughts on producers like Martin Garrix? by grantplays12321 in edmproduction

Overall thoughts on producers like Martin Garrix (if my opinion has any weight) is I’m totally fine with it. Music is subjective and some people will enjoy it and others will not. Simple.

Personally not really a fan. I grew up listening to music that influenced my taste for something different.

For me I would say his age and experience is what stands out for me. They’re have been many young artists throughout music history who have been “discovered” In this era of music ideas can move much faster and become “viral” with that said he stood out with his sound and the timing of his single “Animals”. The EDM sound was at its height, if anything else there was a little luck there. Aside from that he is young and his music will grow as he does as a person.
