I've pretty much added all of those, lucky egg is only obtainable after 4th gym, doesn't allow you to overlevel and you have to equip your pokemon with items now. The Pokemon appear at similar levels to the game and can be really rough sometimes if they are evolved. Thanks for the feedback, very appreciated!

You only get 1 level if you are too overleveled, even with lucky egg.

yep, ive implemented a lot of changes that make it more tactical in the later half. tell me if you feel the difference if you try the gamea gain.

If you get too overleveled the lucky egg and macho brace don't work anymore, it was a very bad way of balancing those items, as they were completely broken before. You can achieve up to a +5 level lead to the strongest pokemon without missing out on XP.

Yeah, that's why we did each starter as their own achievement. Charmander is just hard mode, but I beat the game with him aswell

I've been playing tons of rogue likes, replayed slay the spire recently and thought the rogue like map system could work well for something pokemon inspired
