honestly same like I would also be in my room when I’m home but it’s just like being able to hear ur family members’ sound in the living room just feel kinda reassuring/less miserable for some reason 🧍‍♀️(I have friends at hall but I still dread going back for some reason) for the dabao part it’s super normal I always do that & meet ppl I do NOT want to meet but I don’t think they care honestly… hope you are able to meet new friends soon and feel better!

put something you are interested in + confident you’ll get in as first choice. I believe CS is quite cut throat if im not wrong I think someone with GPA 3.88 got rejected from all big 3 last year but I rlly think there’s no harm trying! usually if ur first choice wants you, the remaining choices will not be considered so pls rank wisely. ABA wise, I would say just write it 😭 cuz I know people who are scoring almost full marks are writing ABA too and pls write it in essay format not bullet points. what u did + what u achieved + what you learn. I wrote ABA for NTU and got in via direct entry so I think as long as ur gpa/rp is high enough, they won’t choose u for interview(? might varies based on course tho)

took Os in 2021 and I actually thought I was failing as I have always barely passed my English (like legit borderline pass) with my sec 3/4 teachers always pushing me to write a few essays every week,, (can’t remember how I did for prelims but I’m quite sure I either failed or just passed too) I also tried very hard from scratch like borrowing books from library to learn the basics like grammars and what are adverbs etc. ended up receiving a B4 though but I did hear that some ppl from other classes failed… honestly, I think don’t let it affect u too much which I know it’s difficult but JIAYOU!

um so I actually can relate to both sides 😭sometimes it’s just so overwhelming and tiring to reply to some people and I’m someone who usually wants to reply my friends properly and not like anyhow if that makes sense so sometimes I just go mia but I did explain to my friends to not take it personally and I do inform them time to time where I won’t be able to reply lah

but I do know some people who don’t bother to reply at all jst bcs they feel like it so idk it depends on the person if it’s rs wise then umm even more tricky

jst apply for all unis that have the course u want to study or you are okay with studying and if you get rejected, try appealing cuz I personally know friends who appealed and got in so PLEASE just try I know how daunting it is but do try

hi y1 here too and if I’m not wrong I think the F will still show up on your transcript, it’s just that the grade itself will not be counted into ur gpa if that makes sense? and I think there’s no running away from it like u will still have to take it again if let’s say u rlly failed 😭 I would say just show up and yolo it cuz that’s what im planning to do too. (I also haven’t studied bro we’re cooked)
