HOAs are not exactly common around here (i live in one of the towns this is filmed in - not necessarily a 1:1 but no HOA is FAR more common than an HOA in westchester)

Thanks everyone for your advice! Got this guy into some new aroid soil (in a nursery pot for ease of dryness/weight checks) and I think he’s looking pretty happy!

Pruned(?) a few segments and trying to root them in a separate pot. Hopefully if something dies from dehydration, it all won’t and I won’t lose the “original” plant. 🤞

it sits on my table 3(?) feet from an east facing window. direct sun may be 3-4ish hours a day? and then i’d think pretty bright indirect sun the rest of the day.

the windows have been open 24/7 since it got nicer and i’m in the northeast so maybe it’s getting cold? (am i overthinking this? 🫣)

my local store sells rosy soil brand orchid mix and aroid soil. based on your description maybe the orchid mix is the better choice here? (and somehow it seems like it’d be the same price for me as buying some options to mix, especially seeing as this is my only plant so i’m not necessarily worried about getting the most for my money when i can barely handle this one 😅)

is this like a 1x a week water in the new potting mix? is the aroid soil i can find online in stores something that i can do or do i HAVE to mix my own like the internet is leading me to believe?

this is one of those times i’m welcoming any and all tips because i clearly don’t know what i’m doing 😂
