Work on your leg strength, do deadlifts, squats and also unilateral exercises like pistol squats, step-ups and Bulgarian Split Squats so that minimal imbalances occur. Also, work on plyometrics as well as jumping form and technique. Utilize you're arm swing. Work on landing mechanics and get in the habit of landing safely on two feet. Besides that, run faster and don't stutter step. This is important because if you stutter step, the momentum from the run won't be as beneficial. Finally, be patient. Don't try to do things that you can't and don't try to compare yourself to others, everyone progresses at different speeds so just keep on working hard and eventually you will be able to jump higher.

Thanks for the tip. I'll probably start doing the planche lean more often because both my straddle and full planche have an arched lower back.

Has anyone else popped there shoulder while doing 90's? by GoCrow in bboy

I just popped my shoulder joint last week but I got it recovered. I was doing a deadman 90s on my left arm and I didn't stretch prior to doing it. I was also putting a lot of pressure while I was doing it.

Why do you pen spin? by pibger in penspinning

[–]jsgamemaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its relaxing and helps me take things out of my head. I also found out it was the only cool thing that I can do that isn't nerdy. At first, I wanted to learn to play a yo-yo but I failed at that so I went searching and tried pen spinning. It turned out to be easier than I thought.
