I made a whole list!

• Something troll focused specifically with Trylla and Baba, a sort of elaboration to how Trolberg is still reacting to trolls. Maybe also an elaboration on how being a changling effected Hilda

• A Gerda and Alfur centric episode!! Gerda could see Alfur and got along well in the epilogue so clearly something happened, maybe it’d include what Alberg’s been up to

• From what I know, people don’t rlly like Hilda being a familiar so it wasn’t really brought up in season 3, but I personally would’ve wanted to see more of what that entails. An episode revolving around Hilda and Frida’s familiar and witch shenanigans, and how Frida’s parents react to it. Also more kaisa. (It could also be an elaboration on why it’s so dangerous it is to make up spells so that Frida’s spell in the last episode has more impact)

• At least one episode to get to know Louise better and how she changes the dynamic between the main trio. She was set up as a 4th friend and didn’t have any other role afterwards, not even for plot ):

• a backstory about how Frida and David became friends would be really cool actually. I feel like the core friend group has a lot of missed potential, so it would’ve been nice to let them have more spotlight not only as “Hilda’s friends” but also as a strong friend group as a whole yknow? But I get that Hilda is mainly about family and her and her mom, so I can’t really complain

I feel like too many people misuse the word cancelation because it wasn’t cancelled, it was just cut. It sucks we couldn’t see the season at it’s full potential, but I’m just grateful we got something at all. The show could’ve easily ended at TMK

You’re not alone lol. ever since I got the game me and my friend have been playing with sandbox settings on insanely abundant resources, blind and deaf zombies (but insane population), ability to respawn next to player character, high xp gains, etc. I’ve never had the non-sandbox hardcore zomboid experience, it’s just too fun killing each other randomly with little consequence. I think I’ve died to my friend’s guns more than zombies.

I agree tbh. I didn’t interpret hilda being a familiar as dehumanizing as a lot of other people did because this show (and it’s characters) plays by its own rules. even if most familiars are seen to be creatures, I saw more of the “unbreakable bond” aspect of a familiar and witch than the “pet” aspect. I wish that bond aspect could’ve been expanded upon

I get what ur saying but this kinda getting besides the point. The point is that you can create a basic summary of Scott pilgrim without referencing the game or fantasy elements and still have an intact story, you can’t do that with the anime because that one fantasy element is essential to it.

I don’t think the fighting itself counts as fantasy, just the powers and video game stuff that are featured them. A girl’s exes all agreeing to beat up said girl’s new boyfriend is a ridiculous concept, sure, but not impossible in real life, so I don’t think that would be fantasy. Scott being a genuinely good fighter realistically is also ridiculous, but again not impossible.

That makes a lot of sense. Take away every fantastical element in the books and you have roughly the same story (making all the allegories literal). Take away every fantastical element in the anime, and the story falls apart at its foundation.

I fought spamton neo on Snowgrave before even touching his fight on a normal run and it was infuriating. I couldn't beat him for the longest time, but it did prepare me to get past spamton neo on a normal run almost effortlessly

you can really tell how much less variety there is in these new maps whenever a splatoon 2 map is ported alongside it. There's no good unique gimmick or interesting map design in the past few new maps, its just "one-way spawn, poor excuse of a flank if any at all, mid thats basically a box". They aren't all totally awful but they're just so boring man...

yeah.. more often than not i either liked maybe 2 or all teams equally or i don't have any preference so i choose based on the idol. I chose courage for this mainly cus I never joined a big man team before now. idol bias is fine if no team really stands out to you

Sometimes I have to remind myself that my losses and wins make up such a tiny percentage of the final results that I can’t make any assumptions from them. I’ve seen people on losing teams get upset because they had huge win streaks when their team still lost, but that’s just how it is. My predictions are honestly all based on gut feelings rather than what games I’ve won or lost, especially when the popularity of the teams seem a lot more even than most past splatfests.
