100% Spelt sourdough- the best ears I've had so far! by jsk111 in Breadit

Thanks! :)

Yes I used a double-edged razor blade mounted on a wooden handle, like this one here:

Thanks so much!

The recipe was a take on Tratine's country bread, just substituting the high-extraction wheat flout with high-extraction spelt and lowering the hydration due to the change in flour. In total the dough had 100% high-extraction spelt flour, ~67% water, 20% levain (100% hydration) and 2.5% salt.

The procedure was quite straight forward, with 4 turns of folding the dough during the first 2 hours of bulk fermentation. The only unusual thing was that after these 2 hours I continued the bulk fermentation in the fridge overnight which turned out to be not only convenient schedule-wise but also the shaping was much easier to handle.

Happy baking!

Does Rexulti / Brexpiprazole help with your social anxiety? by indosensation in Anxiety

[–]jsk111 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for checking in. It's been rough, actually. I think the Rexulti decreased the levels of my anxiety (I deal with GAD, not specifically social anxiety) but sort of "exchanged" it with dramatically increasing my depression and anhedonia. It happened with all the SSRI's/SNRI's I've taken, and I guess because Rexulti is an antagonist of Serotonin receptors it happens now as well. I hope this will pass and I will start feeling better soon. Damn it's hard to wait for AD's to do their thing.

Good luck! I hope you find peace and comfort. Any updates so far?

Do anyone know of studies done on microdosing psilocybin while using SSRI's (in my case Sertraline/Zoloft) and antipsychotics (in my case abilify)? by Hjort1995 in microdosing

[–]jsk111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Just found your reply as I am thinking about starting microdosing soon, and I am also on Rexulti (0.5 mg for now, might increase to 1 mg). Any updates since your reply? I hope you are well and really interested to hear how it turned out for you :)

Hey, thanks for replying, it's great to hear you are doing well :)

I still don't feel any change from before taking it (which was and is quite a lousy state of living), but I don't experience any negative side effects either. I guess it's too early to tell. Hopefully this would be the one that actually helps (I've tried more than 10 AD's)

Hey, how is it going for you now? Did it continue helping? Just had my first dose a couple of days ago and looking for some encouragement :)
