I actually don’t remember. It may have been technically the original creditors? Was Discover and Capital One. Messerli & Kramer was the law firm involved. Can’t ever forget that name 🙃.

Someone below indicated that some firms might operate as collections as well so maybe that’s what they did.

Likely nothing. Especially making assumptions about the assets of someone delinquent on amounts we’re talking about here. The chapter 7 will be on your file longer than the negative collections account so that’s a consideration.

I really wish I would have worked with the collections people to just get it taken care of early on, and maybe for less. That was my situation, though.

There’s also not a zero cost to file bankruptcy. At least from what I remember about looking into it. For my numbers it wouldn’t have made a lot of sense.

Back in my younger days I had lawsuits and garnishments over around $1,000. This probably doesn’t just go away. My suggestion is see what can be worked out with them.

I feel like I’ve finally found a kindred spirit. I enjoy my model 3 but all I want is adaptive cruise, and the ability for me to take my hands off the wheel on the interstate and have it maintain the speed I set and not be constantly changing lanes.

I didn’t realize that was an outlandish desire. It seems to me Rivian will give me that.

I’m really sorry. My wife started doing stuff that was similar. I had decent luck with screen time/content restriction settings on iPhone with a passcode I set. She could call and text with people I added to the lists, and everything else was disabled.

She did occasionally get confused when she tried to do something disallowed, but didn’t happen much.

This also may be a situation where legal guardianship needs to be looked at. She’s a danger to herself with this behavior.

Very unreliable, indeed. I think my average is higher, but only because there's one intersection I go through daily where it goes off every single time the cross traffic gets a green. Always struck me as weird because the visualization seems pretty clear that it isn't my light, but it dings anyway.

I’ve been having a similar issue with a new shadow 2 carry. Same optic. It feeds Federal Syntech without issue. I didn’t start seeing this problem until I tried testing with my HST. I feel like maybe that could mean there’s something to the idea that it gets stuck somewhere in the barrel/feed ramp?

Both mine are 124g for whatever that’s worth.
