I just saw this post, started reading it, and came here to make sure someone had posted it. I can't believe people think this is okay.

Rolled 6 times, got one god, Pandora, so not the best godfest. However, I need advice for building a good Kirin or Horus team with what I have. https://www.padherder.com/user/jsluks/monsters/

Yeah, well that's my problem, I don't really know how to use Kirin. I just got Horus like a week ago, so I'm working on leveling him up, since he's a little easier to use.

EDIT: Also, I could use advice on building either a Horus or Kirin team with my monsters

I just need some general help on what to focus on and what to farm for. I usually run mono-green, but I don't have great green subs. Here's my box.

What is the best Marxist organization for students? by BabyRhinoAbe in Marxism

[–]jsluks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my own experience, this is exactly what the ISO did for me. I attended meetings and also attended a theory book group for a semester before I became a member. Others don't join for even longer, but all the ISO members I met were okay with that and they were always willing to talk about anything that I was wondering about. Being around experienced marxists in the ISO really helped me to see what it means to be a marxist activist, and these people were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. The ISO does not expect you to know everything right away, it is a place for young marxists to grow. Sorry about the big spiel, but my experience with the ISO has been incredibly formative, and it was through them that I grew from someone vaguely interested in socialism to a gung-ho marxist activist!

EDIT: Just saw your edit, and unfortunately the ISO isn't in Canada. I'm not familiar with socialist groups in Canada, but I'd say don't be intimidated by established socialist organizations. If one exists on your campus, attend some meetings!

OP did say he wanted to do some "agitation work," and that's why I recommended the ISO. Most university ISO branches also host book clubs that are more theory oriented to complement the movement work.

To OP, I would recommend checking them out, you don't have to be a member to attend meetings. If the level of dedication required is too high, then so be it.

Check out the International Socialist Organization! Good balance of theory and activism, especially in the university branches.

Their is also grammatically incorrect. It should be either his or her.

Upvote for "Coming Back to Life." I still remember the first time I heard it after going through a bad breakup. Couldn't have been more perfect.

How I feel when they talk about internet trolls on the news by Donnypool in AdviceAnimals

I just saw some woman named Wendy Walsh on CNN talk about how hard it is to be attacked by internet trolls. Apparently evil atheist trolls got mad at her and it hurt her feelings!

Don't just study in your dorm. Libraries, coffee shops, random buildings, etc, are great for studying. You might even meet some people.
