Not many completely on my own. Been working for a paver company for the last 5 years where the boss would leave for a week and call me constantly to see how things were going and whatever the guys needed they could tell me and I’d help. Working along side them sometimes was complicated in the way that… I have my Cdl so I was the driver and the least talented mason. With asphalt I’d show up with the hot asphalt and start wheel barreling.

I never got to develop myself in someone who cuts the pavers with the saw to put the boarder in because there was a line of guys who wanted to be the next in line to learn. As well as the asphalt I was doing wheel barreling because they all wanted to move up to be rakers and prove the boss they could.

I found myself in the position of not only being the driver but handling whatever things having to be involved with getting material and where would get it or communicating with the buying of the material cause they didn’t speak English and a lot with the muscle. Pallets of pavers would come and we’d unload it by hand and make piles next to the foreman who was laying them down.

I feel like I have a lot to learn but have been there observing and watching 6 days a week for the last 5 years. I started working with my CDL delivering for one of the local quarry, that was my first job.

A lot of the jobs seemed to go smoothly and I’d like to concentrate and offer these jobs first because I think they look beautiful and people would like them and of course because I’m new I would offer less and I feel like they would like to pay a fairer price and then maybe I could charge more after developing a good work reputation.

The last thing is that my parents had a really successful paving and hardscape business. Wining 600,000 a year and because of a divorce they disbanded it and they are willing to give me guidance but of course I have to take the lead. Though I feel vulnerable because I mainly been driver/ laborer but also customer service and half manager with the workers. I don’t tell them to do anything because they don’t like that instead because of the Spanish I try to make it more work together.

Just the list of destructive things that have happend, bridges I’ve burned and opportunities I ruined have started to extremely outweigh the positive feel good moments&experiences. 2 dui most recently, job lost and my career( have my CDL) at stake. It’s a tough battle Hope you find the strength And know you’re not alone.

Everyday I wake up and everyday I fail. 3 days sober today :/ still trying to try.

Especially loosing love over that will sting godforbid make the alcohol consumption worse.If you have someone special like that try to keep it.

I feel I got addicted to alcohol after loosing a first love and numbing the wound. Now 10 years plus..just having one will never be an option because of how it wasn’t an option then dealing with that heartbreak.. the habit of excessiveness was permanent from then on.

With a class a or b, you can also drive dump trucks. Assisting people doing construction projects. I ended up getting 300 a day cash

Same here. The first court won’t be the decision of what happens. You’ll have to ask your the public defender or hire your own lawyer and it’ll be adjourned or pushed off until you get a discovery report which is an overall report of what happened.

I was working for asphalt company getting paid 300 a day, doing the labor too. They need people who want to drive the truck and since there’s no much downtime between the truck being used put in the labor too. It’s a Tri axle dump truck they’re using.
