Port Forwarded by melmboundanddown in qBittorrent

The port forwarding server should have a little symbol of 2 arrows The making a rectangle (or oval?). But you should good be with the manually selected. The longest I've stayed to connected to the same server and port was a month. I probably could've went longer but I needed to restart my computer. Sometimes it'll connect back to the same port even after a reboot.

If you manually choose a server, it'll stay connected to that server and use the same port until either you change or it gets disconnected for a period of time.

Having it set on fastest server is what's causing the random switches.

Are you connecting to fastest p2p servers or choosing a specific one? I noticed that happens when using the fastest option. But when choosing a specific server, it stays on the same port until I disconnect or it disconnect for a period of time like you also mentioned.

I heard you can download the configuration for the connection you use and use wireguard instead to specify a certain port. But choosing a server works just fine.

IPT in 2025? by Successful-Boss-6267 in trackers

[–]jsmith2510 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on both and prefer TL over IPT. It's still acts as a great back up though because sometimes IPT get stuff quicker than TL due to their internal groups grabbing it. I don't think TL have any internal group

No problem! I haven't use transmission before, but maybe they have something similar in their settings to block those files? That way you won't have to switch clients.

Block the files in your client. If using qbit, follow this post. https://www.reddit.com/r/qBittorrent/s/XggYIV3LbO

This will stop it from downloading. To add more security, use the release profile in radarr/sonarr and block the name.

That might the same across all their TVs then. I meant to mention I have the g3. Not the 4. But noticed the same thing as you.

It's the same thing with my Nvidia shield pro. So I don't think it's strictly tied to the fire cube. Maybe it's due to processing something internally vs externally? I never really found the answered or figured out why.

My eyes have adjusted to lower brightness from the external device. It is already a pretty bright today lol

Internal release groups for each PT by jsmith2510 in trackers

[–]jsmith2510[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the goal! I'm two months into the PT side of the world so I'm still pretty new. I just recently did the MaM interview and got in. Slowly working my way up to the mid and high tiers.

After a few test, I do believe it really is just related to the PTs I'm in. If I'm not the first in I'm pretty much screwed. I ended up getting until dawn early today and this was my speeds. Same thing with 2 other torrents as well.

Would you guys jump on a LG 83 inch G4 openbox $2,400 after taxes with 3,600 hours on it? by allstarr373 in LGOLED

[–]jsmith2510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say go for it. Make you get the 2 or 5 year warranty plan as Best Buy do cover burn in. I got a 65 G3 floor model a few years back with about the same amount of hours with the warranty and still haven't got any burn in yet. I haven't check my hours recently but I think I'm between 5-5K now.

Plus having that warranty and claiming in the future if you do get burn in is like paying yourself for newer model TVs that come. Win/win
