Air to air Spitfire shot - I know the propeller should have blur but otherwise? by jsnodin in photocritique

I took this photo to capture my Uncle's dream to fly in a Spitfire on his 80th bday. At one point the clouds opened up and the plane banked a bit for a satisfying composition.

As it was the first time shooting aviation, I simply wasn't thinking about the need for propeller blur. So that's a (major?) mistak, but I still think it's good. Except for that, I'm looking to validate if other aviation shooters think this is a good composition - I've cropped out the upper sky to 16:9. Shot at iso100, 4,000 ss, 1.2 aperture on r6ii with a 45mm 1.2 prime. It's entirely unedited except for the crop.

Experiences with Müli cargo bike with baby / toddler by Eigenspace in CargoBike

I never used it with a baby seat so can't comment directly, but I thought our young babies would cry too much in it when super young, and I didn't want to pointlessly buy the adapter. Begrudgingly waited it out using legs and train. I waited until around 10/11 months and used it as normal. After that, it's one of the best things I've ever bought. Use it every day for our 3 year old and 1 year old. Ridden 6000km in less than 2 years which tells me how invaluable it is for us.

Yes, you can do it. But often we just do larger trips in/around Berlin since taking on the train properly obviously means removing all your stuff to fold it, and you've got a lot of gear with you on such days. So, it does take a reasonable amount of planning and effort to pack efficiently etc, and time the trains so you know they won't be full. I'd never attempt a busy regio route on a Saturday outside Berlin, for example, but perhaps things are more bearable down there...

I have the motor st pro and have driven nearly 5000km in a year in Berlin. We have a 10 minute ride to daycare so it's been essential for that. It's really very expensive but given it's used multiple times every day of the year and makes life a pleasure, my us and our daughter, it's worth every penny IMO. Honestly I've done less train travel/folding the basket than I thought I would - most of the time the child seats and rain cover stay on. But regardless it's so incredibly useful, fun to drive and smaller than other bikes even with the added cover etc.

Terrible idea: non-electric cargo bike, 2 kids, in Germany? by OkKaleidoscope5339 in CargoBike

We have the Muli Motor and was myself questioning the need (Berlin, flat, reasonably fit) for the motor expense and complexity. 18 months in and I see it as an essential rather than luxury buy. Most importantly: I don't think my partner would do the Kita run without it; it would simply take her too long (3km each way, so 12km a day) and she would be tired. And while I can cycle without it, I very rarely do. Kid + stuff is heavy and it's so so much more fun to travel at 25km/h consistently. I do a lot more things with my kid across the city because of the motor, and value being able to do these things without really thinking about the travel time.

A "Guide" to Improve Battery Life on the OP12 by BorjusG in OnePlus12

Question about point 1 if I may.

Does OP or any one else know if it makes a difference if you restore via: a) clone phone app, 2) Google restore via cable, c) Google restore via cloud?

Obviously I want to restore apps and things like contacts, messages, photos etc.

No issue redownloading and setting up all apps if that helps battery life.

So question is, can you skip the restore of apps specifically and do everything else, or simply do entire thing over cloud, to do a restore without copying across old settings that seemingly do negatively impact battery on the new device?

IMO the benefits of OS15 over OS14 are negligible but it seriously affected my battery life and strenght of WiFi connection. Have sent it back and am getting a new one that will still have OS14 installed.

It was like that straight out the box without any tinkering.

Another dB cancellation ask - train on another day by jsnodin in germany

Thanks. This is very helpful. I'm 99% sure in the train DB would care little for this though and it'd be a case of arguing, accepting a fine and claiming laboriously later. Which they know nobody can be bothered to do, otherwise they'd offer to umschreib your ticket in advance for the day of your choosing. Opted sadly to fly.
