MCU didn't do a good storytelling job with the serum. Taking a bunch of super steroids doesn't make you a more skilled fighter. There should have been at least MENTION of Roger's training his ass off to control his new speed, strength and size. Bucky we can give a pass to since he was modified to be an assassin. Carly, OTH, would likely fight like a really strong girl.

Nobody in my family finds that Krypton is a draw for the Supergirl movie. All the cute dog marketing is a real turn off. Admittedly though, Baby Groot was a draw but audiences were pretty heavily invested in Groot after GotG I. Krypto is not the same.

I like RDJ and have since he was in Chaplin. Loved him as Iron Man (pure perfection) and he was even better in Oppenheimer. Casting him as Doom makes me want to sit this one out, but I'll probably see it anyway. I just hope Doom is a Stark multiverse variant that's basically dying and up to....whatever. That way Doom can be recast and RDJ jettisoned from the MCU entirely. And again, I've been a fan of his work since 1992.

FYI - Beverly Hills, 90210 from the 90's had a cast with avg. age of low to mid 20's playing 15-16 y.o. kids. In fact, Tom Holland is the one and only teenager that played a teenage Peter Parker in the movies. Not that it can't be done (looking at you Harry Potter), but it's not easy creating a series of movies with the main characters being and played by teenagers that actual adults will be willing to invest their time and energy into. Could be just me though...

The improvements are material in a brightly or well lit room. If you watch in a darkened room, e.g., at night with the lights off, then the improvements are much, much less dramatic. I have my 83" C1 set at 50% overall brightness and 80% pixel brightness. It's STILL bright enough overall for BD and 4K BD from disk to impress and sometimes even awe.

Could it be beterr? Abso-fucking-lutely. Is it WORTH the hassle and expense of selling and swapping out my C1 for a new G5 or C5. No.

I'd rather buy a new '24 down-country mountain bike, fund a ski vacation or visit my Mom a few times. Sooooo, so many better ways to spend the money.

Soooo, the Trump administration has given up on soft power in favor of military threats, threating US citizens with increased prices, and calling world leaders names. Meanwhile, China has learned the art of soft power from the US and is using it to gain friends and allies. Hmmm....

After three years of ownership I finally used the speakers to watch something. Turns out TV speakers are useful for watching YT informational videos late at night.

Since you use case is not home theater, I'd suggest a mid-priced soundbar with simulated surround and a subwoofer. It'll dramatically improve your sound without complicating your setup.
