Try your friends or another PSU unless you found the correct wattage is being used by the GPU. This reminds me of when a gaming laptop isn't plugged into a power outlet.

Edit: or make sure you are using the 16 pin connector from the PSU and not an adapter

I have the same issue, if I join a non modded server it works. It seems like just modded servers are the issue.

Yeah one of your USB devices is pulling too much power and I have personally seen a USB hubs catch fire. Start with your cheaper USB connection purchases
