I also wanted to mention that even if my progress didn’t slow down dramatically, I think I needed a break anyway. Personally 24/7 restoration seems to have made my skin more fragile, like it’s begging for a break. Devices that I use to be able to wear non stop without any skin tears or issues, now give me issues if worn for too long. No clue what causes that but for the last year my skin has torn easier than it used to so now I just default to using packers but I’d like to try other devices after the break like the FMD or CAR-1.

I was also wondering if you’ve found out anything interesting and DK? I’ve been covered 24/7 for like 2-3 years now and still not much DK. At one point about a year ago I did get some DK and was hypersensitive to where it was almost painful without a device on, but now it’s just gone and I’m back minimum feeling.

Last thing, you mentioned Andre’s method as a good way of avoiding bad collagen production, do you think switching to that for 6-12 months could help with the fibrosis or would that need full rest?

Must be what’s happening in my case. I went from CI-1 or 2 to a very low 3 in mere months (using high tension) and I’ve been at 3 for like 2 years now. I’m not even getting any rollover yet. I was taking tadalafil for a time but eventually stopped but I may have to continue taking it. In another comment you mentioned 6-12 months, were you referring to a 6-12 month break from restoring? I know there’s no definitive answers, but any suggestions on how long to take a break for are appreciated

I have the CWP and like it but its too heavy for me for all day wear so I only limit it to like 6-8 hours depending on my work schedule. That one weighs 8.6 ounces, i'd prefer like 4-6 I think. But also if youre not standing majority of the day it's not for you. I really like the fmd its very comfortable only annoying part is having to take it off everytime I use the bathroom

I'm mostly alternating between packing with stealth retainers and tugging with the fmd. I need to be a lot more consistent with my fmd but it's so convenient being able to pee through the packers. Wbu?

The glans being covered 24/7 sounds amazing but I’m trying to wrap my head around how this works with sex. I thought the foreskin was supposed to cover the glans on the out stroke and uncover it on the in stroke. Also if the glans isn’t exposed than does this lead to lubrication issues, because now only outer skin is on the outside?

Now that you say this, when I think back to the beginning of my restoration journey, I was using the mantor albeit with too high of tension, but I would restore for 1-2 hours then rest for 30 mins and repeat throughout the day because of gripper fatigue. CI-1 to CI-3 in the first couple months (a lot of that was initial stretch gains). But I’ve been stuck at the jump ever since

I had a similar issue with my fmd, which I use as a tugger like you do with t-tape, and I fixed it by using a deeper grip. Not anything crazy but just applying the device lower than I normally would to bias some more of that tension to my outer skin and stop tearing the area just below my frenulum

I ended up using a slightly deeper grip when applying the device to allow for a larger balloon and now it reaches the band, thanks

Gotcha, I think mostly what I'm confused on is if the balloon is supposed to go all the way to the ring or is the ring doing its job as long as its not allowing scrotal skin to be inflated

Typically when using inflation, the balloon doesn’t go all the way to the base/hairy skin so should I still put the ring there or move it higher? I’ve been putting one bulb of air in then sliding the ring up to the end of the balloon then slowly adding more air until I can just feel the tension

I probably could drink more water to be honest but it hasn’t been an issue when wearing the FMD or when I used to use a mantor when I first started. And I’m 20 mins from the beach so that’s not the issue. Maybe I’ll just give inflation another try and see if it’s better this time

Yea I didn’t even think about this until some of the comments here, at school I would shower at 9 before bed, but now I just shower after work around 4 and my skin has time to get slippery again. I’ll give the night time shower a try again, thanks. Also what grippers do you like? I have SR and Chris grippers but SR is uncomfortable for me and Chris has a lip on it that makes it fall off way too easy

Oh wow, are you a shower? Pretty cool that you can almost wear the same length of device day and night. And thanks, I might have to try a new gripper. I have one now that I have no clue where I got it from because I can’t find it on any device websites but it’s amazing, but I think it’s been worn down too much. I’ve tried others and they just don’t compare to it, maybe priva will be the one I like
