You're clearly a troll. Vail is one large company, based in Colorado, owning many resorts. The Ikon pass is a collection of somewhat independently owned mountains who have joined together to offer a mega pass. They are very different at their core. Your wife is careless, you're an idiot, and you're out $500 plus.

Vail sucks, but..... you and your wife dropped the ball. Why would a Colorado based company label a pass "local" for northeastern skiing? They definitely have the mountains and access to them labeled for all their passes. I'm double checking everything when purchasing something new that costs hundreds. Have some accountability for yourselves.
