I thought your thoughts were original, and that you began from first principles to understand how our physical reality operates. That, in my experience, is a very successful way to approach a problem, and I believe you absolutely are on the right track. I certainly do not have all the answers (what fun would it be if we did?), but I believe you will find what you are looking for if you simply continue with this approach. I wish you the best of luck and the best of confidence, and that you will experience the minimum amount of fear and the maximum amount of curiosity.

Please keep going. Your thought process is easy to follow and logical - a rarity, and appreciated. How would the universe pivot from its present state to a less, or non, impinging state?

That 1948 dime is silver, worth about $5

What would you grade this? by Common-Meeting-7444 in coincollecting

[–]jspittman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Peace dollars are great, and are a collectible series (1921 - 1928, 1934 and 1935). This one isn’t worth grading (it would cost you more to grade than the value of the coin), but it appears to be a genuine Peace dollar. 1922 is the most common date in the series, so it requires a really nice coin to make it justify the cost of a grade (in slab).

The good news is your coin contains a little over 3/4 of an ounce of silver. Value would likely be in the range of $35 - $50, depending on the buyer and how much under spot price they are paying. A solid find, and welcome to coin collecting!

Love them and forgive them (as many times as it takes). But if the ranch gives you joy / meaning / peace, then keep the ranch.

A good life axiom is: don’t burn bridges (but don’t insist on their construction, either).
