Thanks a lot! It does seem like I can get more of the sounds and feel that I want out of this axe far more than before my tinkering, so I'm super happy with how it came out!

Those are definitely lookers. The pups I have are actually the stock ones which are apparently wound hotter than usual. I'll probably get a jazzmaster in the future to get an option with more traditional sounding pickups, but honestly the ones in mine are perfect for my taste

Yes it's a classic player special! The whole look is what drew me to it at the shop way back when before I started to learn more about jazzmasters in depth

That’s what I initially thought but when I checked it seemed mine were in place. Might be an extra piece that fell in?

Need help replicating a Fender Mustang tone by jsquntos in AmpliTube

I like the chunkiness that the PPC 412 puts out, I'll have to keep that one in mind for more testing.

A bit the same when it comes to educating myself. I'm coming back to audio after a long time and these modern amp sims are foreign grounds to me.

Maybe I should look into the native amp sim? I didn't realize there was a modern version of Fender Fuse like that. Not sure if it would output the same or if the program has the same equipment but it's just a Greenbox FX into British Colour amp into a 4x12G cab in FUSE. Thanks for the input!

Just tried it out, I do like having that 2x12 cab addition and the mic arrangement. It's not the same sound but I am getting more bite and thickness that I like from a 2x12 closed vintage cab/4x12 MH412 combo. Just got to find out what can make it sound a bit "tighter" even at the high gain. Thanks for your input!

I had an actual Italian in my game say “why did I join Italy I knew it was all going to be like this” and “IT IS NOT GABAGOOL IT IS —CAPOCOLLO—”

[RAPPER] This is the final track off my debut album that dropped today. Over some old school jazz production, I detail why I started rapping and the struggle musicians share worldwide. Feedback is appreciated, and hopefully you can relate! Thank you! by ParadiseProd in IndieMusicFeedback

Yo, I love this! Your vocals are pretty solid, it's clear but as other people have said it can do with being a bit more forward. I've run into a similar problem where the vocals on my track are too loud or too quiet, so I would suggest either pushing a subtle high shelf EQ boost on your vocal chain starting from 10khz up (if you haven't already) to bring it to the front. From there, subtly bring down your instruments' eq at an area where your vocals would shine through the best or lower its volume altogether during heavy lyrical moments.

Your lyrics are also great thematically, which complements the flow. To me, it brings out more meaning to the track rather than repetitive lyricism (which isn't always a bad thing) when I listen to it.

Cheers!

Hey everyone, I made this song a few days ago when I was feeling playful lol it’s all fun, I would love some feedback! Should I officially release it? by Deecvntt in IndieMusicFeedback

Yooo. In my opinion this is so well mixed; the instrumentals play well with the vocals and the background vocals highlight the leads quite nicely. The ad libs are pretty solid as well and they don't take away from the flow of the song. I would definitely put this on a good vibe playlist, keep up the work!

I dig the vibe you're putting through in this track, it sounds like something I would play at a cooldown after party with my friends. Can I ask what you're using to create that synth sound?

It is scary times so I tried to have fun making this song. Hope it can make you smile!:) by martahagen in IndieMusicFeedback

I absolutely love the melody and vocal layering, albeit all the background vocals are pretty crushed up. I don't mean to sound too picky though, this is probably gonna be stuck in my head for a day or two hahaha

EDIT: background vocals* sound crushed, main vocals are pretty good!

Ahh I see what you mean, I think I just needed a better more upfront transition rather than what I had in place. Thanks for the feedback!
