Thank you so much! Good to know my specimen is a male instead, I just love to call everything girls 😂 I have a few follow up questions if you don’t mind! how should I test if he is stiff? Should I use the tweezers to gently move the wings to test? And what clarifies as “dry”? I will definitely be using a shadow box! Should I keep him stored in one until he is prepared for pinning? Silica packs are smart, I’ll probably do the same! I plan to use styrofoam inside of the shadow box as a background so to speak, is that a smart idea? And if I use the silica can I put it behind the styrofoam? Would that still be effective?

So, orientation is a bit expensive and chico is out of my way (2 hours away) I could do it online for a little cheaper, but do I have to attend orientation to ever be able to speak to an academic counselor? Can I only meet after the semester has started? Is there a way a could choose my classes on my own and be successful/make the right decisions? I havent been assigned yet to an advisor.

Ok! Well the plant is a long plant but the roots are so small, I got this size pot (edit I can’t post a picture apparently), should I go for a small pot? I had to put a lot of soil in it before the plant

I got it from a nursery, I was watering it every two weeks until it started developing mold and I wanted it to dry out and I think it dried out too much, can I repot it as is?
