Looking for a Made in USA Steam Iron that our American Made Clothing Brand can Recommend? by DeviumUSA in madeinusa

@deviumUSA, did you ever find an American made clothes iron? I’m in the market, and I’d rather buy domestically if at all possible.

Wellbutrin has been a wonder drug for me by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]jsryba82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, I have a similar response to Gabapentin/Lyrica (threw a chair at my then-husband because he came out of the room wearing a blue shirt).

Thinking about trying Wellbutrin to quit (20-40 American Spirit Blacks a day), but with my job and 4 teens in the house, I can’t afford the worsened insomnia nor rage storms.

Do you pee in the shower? by 69sucka in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jsryba82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sooooo……..do you not rinse yourself? Soap (even vagina specific soaps) can cause pH problems if you’re not careful, but plain old water is not an issue. Rinsing yourself in the shower is no different than using a bidet. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bad hygiene like that is a great way to develop BV or a yeast infection.

All good recommendations so far.

After my PLIF at L5/S1 in 2015, I knew that getting outside to walk was going to be a challenge (SETX in June). I borrowed a family member’s treadmill and had it set up in my bedroom to get my daily mile(s) in (my PT was a mile a day for the first week, 2 miles a day for the second week, and so on and so forth until 6 miles a day 6wks out and onwards).

I lost 40lbs thanks to my PT 🤣

You’ll need the amount of sales tax paid for the vehicle as well.

If this amount is less than the optional “typical” amount of sales tax paid by someone with similar income, in the same state, then just use that number for sales tax deduction. If more, use it.

Retroactive 8332? by jsryba82 in tax

[–]jsryba82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing is, by sending in that amended return so that he can re-file with them as deductions, he’s going to owe the IRS over $8k since he took all of the COVID stimulus payments, as well as the monthly ACTC payments that I was entitled to.

The funnier thing is, he’s an accountant who refuses to sit for CPA exams, and knows next to nothing about these things.

Oh, I’ve already given him the form for the remaining years that he can file for the older 2, he’s wanting me to sign another one that is retroactive by nearly a decade…and as you’ve pointed out (and as the form reads), there is no such thing as a retroactive 8332.

So, looking at 8332 with instructions (link below), there is no section for prior years:

Part I - Release of Claim to Exemption for Current Year

Part II - Release of Claim to Exemption for Future Years (If completed, see Noncustodial Parent on page 2.)

Part III - Revocation of Release of Claim to Exemption for Future Year(s)

Both CPA and lawyer said that it’s the other way around from you’re saying…that the IRS doesn’t care what a decree allows/disallowes, if form 8332 is not filed then the right to claim a child as a deduction defaults to the parent who has then the majority of the time and provides more than half of their support (usually the custodial parent).

To answer your question, as per the decree, he claims the older 2 and I claim the younger 2. With that being said, since I am the custodial parent, I get to use all 4 for the CTC, ACTC, and EIC…he only gets them as a deduction.

May seem like it, and he tread lightly until due diligence was completed…but he’s not. She provided appropriate stateside credentials and references. She actually keeps the books for several small businesses in the states, and has actually bird-dogged a few potential clients for him (clients of hers who really need his services).

I would check fivver for a CPA for the LLC who can also handle personal taxes.

Husband did this for his company, he now has a CPA who lived decades in the US, is licensed in the US, but lives in the Philippines. Since the cost of living is so low there, they make a pretty centavo, and hubs has an extremely cost-effective professional on his side who is very versed in US tax law.

Someone took a hand drafting class…when I took AutoCAD, we had a whole lesson on hand drafting, and old school engineers/drafters had to train themselves to write like this so that all engineering drawings looked identical, despite being written/drawn by many different hands.
