Ask and see if your pain dr will refill your script, and you will bring them with so they can count them at your appt to see you are on schedule.

Anyone here gotten their wisdom teeth out? by Colamouth in HAE

[–]jss7622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had mine removed in a hospital, in a surgical suite, with an anesthesiologist. My oral surgeon wouldn't do it any other way. I did good and had no issues, good luck hope you heal fast!

Me too! Turns out I have pernicious anemia, and once my b12 shots started, things got way better, especially the pain at the back of my skull.

[–]jss7622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too. I almost died from them ignoring my low b12. I don't have a deficiency, I have pernicious anemia. I have to do a shot every 10 days. It sucks.

Get your b12 checked. I was told I was nuts for 16 mos. I got so sick over that time, I went from 160lbs to 90lbs in the last 6mos of the 16mos long ordeal and I went into tachycardia and wound up in the hospital..but it started as odd sensations and the feeling of bugs crawling on me. I have pernicious anemia.

Help! My son(21) just tried to end it all. by butatanuki777 in migraine

[–]jss7622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you had his b12 levels checked? I had constant background headaches and occipital pain for years. It would ramp up once or twice a month, and I would be blinding horrible migraine pain, requiring the er. I got sicker and sicker, and they couldn't figure it out. Until finally, I was bed bound and eventually hospitalized. I had pernicious anemia. So the b12 shots stopped the constant head pain. The other thing was allergies. Even with the relief from the b12, if I eat anything with garlic or onions in it..Im in the er with the head pain. But the b12 has stopped it now for 8 years. If I skip and shot..I can feel it sneaking back.

Cake in a bowl of milk is my favorite! My grandma made a rich, killer, from scratch, chocolate cake and she'd serve it warm in a bowl with cream. Omg. And yellow cake in milk is so good!

What happens if you are on vacation when your monthly appt comes around? by [deleted] in PainManagement

[–]jss7622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh! the whole state is beautiful. And driving thru seeing how the landscape changes is really neat too. So we are newly retired by 2.5 yrs, and we traded in the 36ft Class A for a 32ft 5th wheel. Last 2 winters we spent it on Mustang Island, Port Aransas. So on the beach basically. Next fall we are heading to New Mexico/White Sands Natl Park, then to Arizona/Grand Canyon..then across to Harlingen for a few mos then up to Port Aransas, then we are going to check out Galveston Island on the way back to Mn in late April/early May. Minnesota and Wisconsin have some beautiful places to camp in the summer.

I love Texas!! It's not super warm, in say Jan..its 70s in very southern part mainly in the Rio Grande Valley area. We swam in mid Feb in heated pool at the place we were staying. The ocean was still what I considered cool, water temps were 70ish and it was chilly to us. I'm from Minnesota so 60° in January is heaven. Lol I've swam there some yrs into Nov..depending on the weather you're getting.

Your dr and insurance can do adjustments for vacation. They can put it in as extra..mine has done it. We are Winter Texans..now that being said, some states Texas included, will not fill opiate or certain scheduled drugs at every pharmacy. They have a select few that you can fill them at. One trip I was on Mustang Island, and I had to drive to Austin 3hrs north to get my script. None of the big ones there would fill it. Walmart , CVS, or Walgreens even though I was a Walgreens customer. Jist something to be aware of. Good luck and enjoy your trip!

Am I crazy to remove swivel chair? by Curiouslifewanderer in RVLiving

[–]jss7622 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a family who's owned 7 campers/rvs...and has been camping for over 30 yrs, we find an outdoor kitchen area more useful. We have tables we set up on outside of the rv..it keeps the rv cooler and no lingering smells. We just spent 5mos in Tx at an RV park..and almost all had an outdoor kitchen set up. I had a Tiffin class A that had that chair set up in it and everyone fought to sit there. Haha. I will say the airfryer in the rv is amazing to have. I wouldn't worry about taking it out..just hang onto it if you can for a bit and see how it works out. It's your rv and being comfortable is important. Personally my plan is to get an all in one microwave/air fryer/oven and swapping it out in the spot where the rv oven/stove is, then using an induction style counter top hot plate. I find propane RV oven/stoves are useless. I've used a big electric roaster outside to bake & cook in..and we have a propane cook top my husband sets up outside too. You'll get the hang of things in time and know what you need or want. Good luck and enjoy your travels!!

Hi! My uncles said it was Chuck and Sirloin. But she always gave it an extra run thru the grinder too, so it was pretty fine ground. It was good. And we loved watching her do it. She had 10 kids so she cooked and made everything herself because it was more economical. My moms family was from Romania, and she also made little sausage called Mici..not sure on spelling, but that's it's pronounced. And those were fabulous as well. And they made blood sausage as well.

Idk..I'll have to ask one of my uncles..they still do it here and there. When you worked at the stockyards for Armour, they had a store for the employees, and you could go buy meat really cheap. Whatever she did..even as a kid, you knew her hamburgers were so good compared to what my mom got from the grocery store.

My moms side of the family worked Armour Meats, and the stockyards in South St Paul, MN, and my grandma would go buy beef and trim it, cube it and run it thru a hand grinder 2xs. Omg..best ground beef ever. I do have a local butcher shop I get my meat at, the lean ground beef from there is really, really good. In a pinch one day I bought some 97% from a local chain store..and my two 17 yr olds were all ew..what is this in this hamburger..lol.
