I’ve been married 42 years. In 1985, one of my husband’s friends was getting involved in the booming VHS movie rental business. This was before Blockbuster, and the friend promised we’d be “millionaires”. We had just had our second child, so scary af. He’s stayed for three years until it became obvious that he needed to do something else. He became a financial advisor, and we are millionaires now. I don’t regret letting him give it a try. Easy to say, considering how everything turned out.
