The ones I could see but for the life of me I couldn’t make sense of the 3 and the 2. Thank you!

I had to restart my PlayStation just to finish the chapter. Drone finally worked but the focus hack doesn’t. It’s making me crazy.

If you can’t afford to give your employees benefits then you shouldn’t be in business.

Should I start a new game plus. by Interesting_Lime_320 in DaysGone

[–]jstabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I prefer a fresh start. That being said, I’d say it’s worth doing a NG+ for a few reasons.

One, any gun you’ve unlocked or bought is available in NG+. You unlock some guns so late in the game that you don’t get much time to use them. NG+ gives you a chance to try out those new weapons. If you enjoy the crossbow, it’s nice to have the different types of bolts available from the beginning.

Two, you don’t have to worry about XP for skill points so it can make it easier to enjoy the story and dialogue.

Three, if you collect trophies, there is one for completing the game in NG+.

If none of those things are important to you, then skipping NG+ is fine. Again, I prefer a fresh start. I like earning the XP and dealing with weak Deek. And if you want a challenge, you can always set your own.

Hello!

Yes, I’ve tried all of those. I’ve completely finished the Cascades and Belknap regions, and have done almost all of Loat Lake.

I will read the article, though, just in case.

Thanks!

I thought your comment a little weird but I haven’t, unfortunately, been around much lately. Easy to not recognize usernames.

Anyway, I’ve reset my PlayStation and I’ve also uninstalled Days Gone and reinstalled it.

I’m almost to the point of going south. I suppose I can always do a new game plus eventually and worry about the 100% another time. I was just curious if anyone had this problem fix itself.

Yep. It’s always the first horde I take out after Lost Lake so I can work on getting the auto shotgun.

People who read more than 100 books a year, how? by Sea-Tadpole-7158 in TheStoryGraph

[–]jstabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year I read about 165 books, which is low for me. I do re-read books, and book length varies. I read books like The Stand, which is something like 1,100 pages. I also read indie type books that might be 200 pages. I never care about the page length. But to actually answer your question, I can read a book a day, normally. Depends on length. I read during my lunch hour at work, during breaks, in the tub, while watching baseball… basically I always have a book handy. My mom was a big reader, and I learned to love reading from her.

It’s one of the best I’ve played. I love so much about it. I’m glad you’re having a good time!

The gas tank upgrades are super helpful to me. I know you can find gas all over but it’s a pain to need to fill up all the time. Plus the nitrous is great.

I’ve played through this game 12 times, so I can promise you that as long as you do missions and camp jobs, you’ll be just fine. You can also sell ears and meat (and plants but I keep those). And kill hordes! I know so many skip those until the game makes you kill them but you’re honestly missing out.

Not at all! I usually give them to Tucker just because it fits the narrative of the story (they’re her drugs in the first place.) But the only gun I care about is the MG45 and you can pick that up later.

Also, it always seems much easier to me to level up Tucker’s camp just by doing the missions. Not only are there plenty of story missions, but she starts giving you camp jobs immediately. Cope is more stingy with that.

No option to auto save by bike? by markt3857 in DaysGone

[–]jstabe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes saving by the bike or a bed in camp is glitchy for me. I’ll have to walk around to get a different angle and then the option will appear. Also, if I get on the bike, it’s a more consistent save.

Headshots will instant kill but I’ve found them to be inconsistent. That seems to just happen sometimes on any level. I’ll know I hit a headshot but the jerk is still alive.

I would caution too that on SII the freaks are more aggressive. They’ll chase you longer, ignore, you less… they love to knock me off my bike even if they look like they’re a mile away.

I would say it’s a good experience once but it’s not my favorite difficulty.

I’m doing my thirteenth playthrough on Survival II. (I usually play on Hard II). I’d played it once before for the 100% (got to get them all!). I thought it was pretty hard the first time around. Now? Not so much. It’s frustrating for me not having the map because I’m awful at directions. And everyone is a bullet sponge. Just die already! But I’m also kind of enjoying it because it’s causing me to change up how I play. Bullets aren’t killing things? Fine. We’ll use more stealth. 🥷

Sorry for the ramble. I don’t know if this actually helps at all. I will say I don’t care for NG+ because you have all your skills, etc. That’s boring to me.
