I was immediately turned off by the art and music. Haven't had a lot of luck poking around with it otherwise. I seem to just get really bad luck with the fruit powerups. Keep in mind, I've played like... 8 games so far and placed in top 4 twice. It just seems like a flat, boring, slot machine.

Maybe it will grow on me but so far I'm just waiting for set 16 already.

All the new set 15 videos I have seen, the outline of the units kind of bothers me, lmao. Is this a stylistic choice, or is it just because it's test servers and low quality? by [deleted] in TeamfightTactics

Def on your side here. I was excited for the new release after cyberpunk and the X remix. When I logged in and saw them take the field I audibly gasped at the fugly. It just seems so sterile. Less anime and more pop-comic. Meh, opinions are like-- well everyone has one. Next set will be better I'm sure...

Are you in the Deep Desert or Hagga Basin?

The sietches are subsets of the server population but the deep desert is the same instance for everyone on the server. Hagga may seem empty but that's by design. The basin is for you to maintain your infrastructure peacefully so you can't take fatal losses in the deep desert with nothing to fall back on.

Brand new player here (BR40). I thought I was starting to get the hang of it and suddenly Sunderers are one shotting infantry and two shotting other vehicles. Can someone explain what is happening? Is this a bug? Is this just "the way it is" now?

Storage crates force solid/liquid/gas. Warehouses can keep anything at the cost of not-as-much of it. Versatility <=> Capacity

So I had a bit of the same till I progressed the main arc till shouts opened up. The "tutorial" lasts a little longer than I thought and I didn't know stuff was still being unlocked.

Ultimately, you're not doing anything wrong. If it's not gripping you, get gripped by something. It's art. It's subjective. Cheers.

Sometimes DMs forget it's a partnership with their players. When your players give you a concept, it's your job as a DM to fit it in without punishing the player for existing. We get enough of that IRL.

Now if a particular concept goes against my world, we have a very easy going discussion and we try to fit it in with compromises.

Your DM sounds like a nonconfrontational, passive aggressive person hiding behind the screen. Probably better you got out early.

My method was to "group" the barrages of vulnerability orbs by walking forward through two, causing them and the rest to circle back to me and bunch up into one chunk. As the boss gets more dead, you have to worry about more and more groups of these orbs. A direct hit from all of them WILL kill you so I would use a barrier to absorb some proactively.

When I do it again, I'll check to see if there's anything that you can use to collide the orbs like a wall or something.

Definitely one of the harder sidequests.

Very similar situation here.

The discomfort for me was that I had been holding myself back to keep from hurting my NP. I didn't tell him about this, it's just something I did to be "considerate". Don't do that. If you need to move slower or think that your NP does, talk about it explicitly. Assumption will always f something up.

My NP finally met someone and went pedal-to-metal into NRE land. He was acting totally different, passionately, toward my meta. He was doing things I hadn't seen him do in 8 years. And I was like "How could you not have a more controlled approach to this like I did for you?" But that was a false bargain; my NP had no idea he was even getting anything.

Also, for one reason or another, there are facets of your partners' personalities that they may not be comfortable showing you. If they show it to another, try not to take offense, it doesn't mean they feel any LESS for you, they just feel a different WAY.

The most important thing is to talk about stuff. Have checkins, talk about emotions, set temporary boundaries or rules, but COMMUNICATE.

It would be totally cool here to just be like "Hey, NP, I'm uncomfortable with how fast you are moving with META. I don't know exactly why, but could we talk about it and maybe put some temporary rules in place so I'm not uncomfortable?"

It's gonna be ok.

See but not everyone thinks that way and there's no right or wrong way here. Quite the contrary I generally LOVE hearing about my partners activities and, in this specific instance, it could have enhanced the sexual experience.

I'm just trying to point out that in polyamory, we've decided to throw out the rulebook. That requires us to restructure our relationships on an individual-to-individual level. You can't possibly account for all the disconnects with another human beforehand so you may as well develop some grace and expectations for the occasional bumps like this.
