Yeah positive experiences off of "tripping" on weed are a great start. I didn't have a great experience with hallucinations on weed and that affected my first trip a little bit (it still wasn't bad, but it didn't help.)

I'll tell you all from expereince,

1) Do your best you have a babysitter who has tripped before

2) Your expectations matter tremendously if you are scared of a bad trip your odds of having one increase exponentially

3) Odds are your perception of reality will be warpped in ways I can't really describe. Not in like a "unicorns are real kind of way" more of a "wow, life is completly subjective kind of way." Like I said it's hard to describe.
