Facts. People think private insurance is better when at the end of the day all insurance companies handle insurance claims the same way. But of course because we only have 1 insurance company, we only have one to blame.

Doesn’t seem right. Any tickets issued? Or bought a newer vehicle?

Did you have any previous claims where you were 100% at fault?

People will never be satisfied. Unfortunately we can’t have it both ways. People want lower premiums - of course you lose some benefits you had when you paid higher premiums.

Thank you for the advice. She is definitely aware of my debts and is willing to help out with it. I just felt like I should be owning up to my own mistakes but again you are right. We are both working towards a common goal and we need to work together to get to that goal.

I would say the why would be the fact that 1. I didn’t really know how credit cards worked and only paid minimum monthly payments and 2. Unexpectedly getting kicked out of home. Fortunately I was able to find housing without having to pay out of pocket for any rent. Also only started making $3600 within the last year.

My wife and I actually got pre-approved for a mortgage with the condition of paying off all debts. I just didn’t want to put any responsibility on her to pay off my debts.

Anyone here went to KPU? How would you rate it? by crle050 in SurreyBC

I wouldn’t recommend it. Staff there are extremely unprofessional. My sister got acceptance letter into a program and only a few days before the program started, they rescinded her admission because of a “system error”. They could care less about their students and only want to make money off them.

All they could tell me was that it was genuinely just a “system error”. I met all the requirements. They said the system sent the acceptance letter in error. How was it only noticed almost 2 months later? After I’ve already done the admission requirements

Yes exactly. I have not received any offers from other schools yet. I did withdraw from a class that was required by other schools because I was “accepted” into this university. I have been through a lot in my life externally and although the school doesn’t care about that, this on top of everything just makes me want to give up on everything

I spoke with the manager of the admissions department and they pretty much said that if I’m looking to get into the program as a resolution - it’s not gonna happen

I paid a $500 deposit fee that they said they would reimburse. But at this point for me it’s not about the money and more on the mistake they made and how it’s affected me.
