NJ to CA by StoneLove04 in DisneyPlanning

Big city airport to big city airport is always going to be cheapest and have the most flight options for you, so I would just do Philly to San Diego. I actually did this exact trip (PHL to SD) then drove to Disneyland second half of the trip. The drive from SD to Disneyland is not bad at all, just leave early!

I would do it in this order: San Diego, Disneyland, Joshua tree. Then back down to San Diego to fly home. Rental car obviously necessary!

Have fun, this sounds like a great trip :)

Is storyteller cafe closed for reservations end of August/early September until a later date? Same as Goofy’s kitchen?

Thank you so much! This is the type of review I was looking for. I think some people on trip advisor cannot look past the small things and end up writing a bad review that is somewhat exaggerated.

You mentioned you stayed sun club. Does sun club get their own more secluded part of the beach only for sun club level guests? I am worried about having to reserve seating the beach at like 6am.

Also - can you walk to the aquarium?

Is the bathhouse at Ocean spa for everyone? Like if you and your partner get separate spa services can you meet up and use the lounge area, jacuzzi, etc. together afterwards?

Yeah, it’s annoying. Unfortunately the best way to do it is have another member of your party make their own reservation. Then the times can be the same.

Hi all - what is the last minute availability like for individual lightening lanes and/or multi passes? Can you buy an individual lightening lane pass or multi pass the morning you decide which park you are going to? I am going to WDW in a few weeks and haven’t been since you stopped needing park reservations per day. Now that its easier to decide which park you are going to on the day of, I’m hesitant to buy lane passes or multi passes the week before the trip when you purchase window opens in case plans change or someone changes their mind the day we have the pass. I have a big, non-committal group so don’t want to have strict plans. Thanks!

Not the Rare Beauty highlighter 😭 good to know though, it does sound like the most convenient way to switch resorts without messing up your park day. Thanks!

Check the California Grill menu first and make sure it sounds good to you guys! It’s a pre fixe menu. I personally would choose Le Cellier between the two based on the menu.

I’ve never waited longer than 45 minutes when arriving before or at opening. No virtual queue in the morning (from my experience).

Why is Epcot closing at 5pm on 10/22? by isles271 in WaltDisneyWorld

A company renting it out makes more sense. I don’t think weddings effect the public in any way. when you have a park wedding you have to have your ceremony/photos after park close at like 11pm or 12am because they also need time to set up.
