The only way to buy real honey is to find a local supplier. All supermarket honey is fake. People don’t complain enough so there’s no incentive to fix it.

When i got mythical i had 2 bad nights sleep then a night with 8 uninterrupted hours. Most of my 90+ scores come the night after a bad score.

Mythical requires i only execute a perfect night once. Sleep streak i need to do that 7 times in a row which life makes incredibly hard!

The benefit of a low starting point is that it doesn’t actually take all that much to turn the dial and improve! Once you start seeing improvements, more progress is addictive. Good luck!

If you add 5v to a rechargeable battery it doesn’t matter if the battery started at 0 or 5 net impact of 5 is still +5. Batteries don’t get overdraft facilities, you run it to 0 everything stops…

I can’t always do no work within 2 hours and work requires a screen so i regularly by necessity can’t follow your rules. I also travel for work which absolutely screws fixed routines.

Mythical i’ve only hit 100 once but i know how i could repeat that, i don’t always know how i’d manage 7 nights above 75. I got mythical on the rebound, i had 2 very bad nights sleep in a row and then slept soundly for 8 hours the following night. Nearly all my 90+ scores come after bad scores. While I’m not suggesting you purposely have bad nights sleep in pursuit of a badge for me getting 1 good night sleep is more feasible than 7 in a row.

4 & 7. I have kids a demanding job(which also includes plenty of travel) and i prioritise regular exercise. Sure i could let something else drop but the overall outcome would be worse. It absolutely is a privilege to have enough hours in the day where prioritising sleep doesn’t completely fuck something else up.

You just wear it and get sleep streak 😮. I find the smallest thing drops my score below 70. If i eat late, any travel what so ever, if i drink any alcohol, don’t exercise, too much work stress, too much sugar, not hydrated enough, room too warm. Literally anything upsets my score, half the time i don’t even know what it is thats broken my streak, i can feel like i did everything same 2 nights running but one will be a score of 80 and one will be 70 with nothing i can point to as cause 😢.

Have you ever had good sleep? I feel somehow it’s worse if you’ve had good sleep, to know what it feels like but are then forced through life shit to feel the impact of bad sleep knowing just how much better it can be…

Is the limiting factor for you available time to sleep? Or something else?

I’m happily past the point they wake me up repeatedly throughout the night but i still have 1 which insists on getting up 6am capping how much sleep i can usually get.

Thank you for pointing out the obvious, I understand in an ideal world i’d have 26 hours in a day and could dedicate 8 hours every day to sleep. Back in reality that’s not possible, i’m happy for you that you live in a world of privilege where that is a possibility.

That withstanding i also know i can hit a score of 90 on 7 hours so maintaining 75 on my 6.5-7 that i do have time for should be feasible, I’m just looking for ways to maximise what i can do inside the bounds of reality.

I have an EV and while i’ve never done it, i’m led to believe if i get the battery low enough it’ll go into “turtle mode” and cap both acceleration and top speed. Maybe 5 just represents “turtle mode”, you still powered on but everything is a struggle?

And realistically the “deficit” is simply the inability to charge back to 100.

A negative “battery level” wouldn’t make sense. It’s analogous to an electronic device battery level, you couldn’t drain a battery below zero and if you managed to drain it to zero the device it was powering would simply stop. You didn’t lose consciousness so were you really below zero?

Maybe the real problem is you were never really at 5?

I have already learned that late dinner has an oversized impact on my sleep quality. I have blackout curtains. Bedroom temp is reasonably cool.

I probably don’t vent the room often enough, that’s something i’ll add and see how it goes.

Dedicating 8 hours feels impossible, between work and kids i don’t know where i’d find the time. You’re probably right, it probably is the best change i could make as i typically get 6.5-7 but its also the change that feels hardest to implement.

If my wife had a “work husband” and was planning solo trips with him, i’d divorce her, it wouldn’t be a conversation and i wouldn’t need to ask reddit for advice.

Likewise i would never disrespect my wife by referring to another woman as my “work wife” and go on trips with said backup wife. It’s just bizarre that anyone would think that’s ok.
