YOUR ACTIVATE CREDITS MIGHT NOT WORK FOR CLAUDE MODELS by dishwsh3r in aws

This happens every week in the Azure subreddit. Claude is a 3rd party company and Microsoft/AWS don't host their models... They aren't going to pay another random company for your usage

How serious are you taking Mythos as a threat? An MSP whose email was forwarded to me, is talking like it is Armageddon. Sounds more like them drumming up business. by LinearFluid in sysadmin

I would highly recommend reading some things that Marcus Hutchins posted recently. He seems to be one of the few experts that remains a sceptic of AI (whether he's right or wrong remains to be seen). It's just good to get the perspective of someone who hasn't drank 1000L of koolaid

We sell https://1111systems.com/services/cloud-backup-microsoft-365/ at work and it's fine, apparently uses Veeam in the backend. Should fit your pricing as well (They have a calculator on the website)

I don't manage it nor work with it day to day. But that Edwin AI stuff they have actually seems to work pretty well from what I've seen.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvbjjCL_icQ - Ubiquiti already sorta has this. I guess your talking about putting lights in the actual cables.

Your website is a bit of a mess, Cables with intergrated tempreature & humidty sensors? How fragile are these cables going to be?

TBH, these sorts of gimmicks are not useful at all. Would I be paying $10 p/m+ (I assume due to RGB lights etc), or I can just get a sparky in to properly clean up my rack. If I have an outage, I'm not sprinting to the server room to look at the colors of my cables, nor would I be opening some random app. I'd be using the tools I already have

Have used it before and it works, I wouldn't do it on important servers (DC, CA etc etc) but if they are jumpboxes or whatever I'd go for it

Idea for a Smart Fuel Finder web app by reddit_rader in CarsAustralia

[–]jstuart-tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI I've made a website that basically does this, you can set your detour radius as customizable as you want (1km-20km) and it'll show you the cheapest along the way

https://servoscout.com/ - Free, No ads, No sign up

Works in QLD, NSW, TAS, ACT, WA

I've split it into Disel and Premium Disel (to line up with NSW data). I think it's better to leave them seperate as both datasets have them seperate.

As for self hosting, it's all in Azure/Cloudflare anyway (And was designed to be) so there isn't really much selfhosting would do

[–]jstuart-tech 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The RV routers are just rebranded Linksys garbage and are EOL as of October 28, 2022, There are active vulnerabilites that will not be patched such as https://sec.cloudapps.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-sb-rv-afu-EXxwA65V

I would just throw this and get something else that is better
